Stopped by Haraz Coffee in Roseville late afternoon with the family to check out the new spot.
The Good: • Location & Ambiance: Great location, plenty of parking, clean interior with modern decor. Comfortable atmosphere. • Menu Options: Wide selection of drinks, both hot and cold. I tried their specialty coffee, a pistachio cold drink, and a pineapple-mango lassi. All well-presented. • Service: Staff were friendly, and service was efficient.
The Trade-offs: • Pricing: Drinks ranged from $7–$9, pastries around $8 each. For a family of five, the bill came to just under $40. For perspective, that’s equivalent to a full extra-large halal pizza meal with toppings—so it felt steep for a casual coffee stop. • Value: While presentation and quality were good, the price point felt more like a luxury café experience. Not sure the price is justified for what you get—especially for families.
Final Thoughts: Haraz is a solid addition to the Roseville café scene—great for adults looking for a trendy hangout or coffee date. With kids, though, it turns into a pricey outing. Likely to return, but next time, it’ll probably just be an...
Read moreI have been there quite few times, so I feel like my review will be fair. I tried different drinks, and ALL tasted so good. I always do Almond milk and NO sugar. I tried their lattes, mufawr and i believe sanai all were amazing.
For their food, i tried their chicken muskhan and it is really fresh and delicious. Highly recommend and also all their pies are so so good.
Service wise, yesterday we went and i ordered the muskhan roll and my husband had another pie and both came not only cold, but it was icey. I had a bite and couldn’t eat it. So i went to the cashier and the manager took it away and replaced it with new one. I thought that very nice of them, but they EVEN went beyond that. The manager he to our table and apologized. Later, he sent us a plate with free Baklava. We were more than satisfied at that point.
Overall, we are so happy to have a local cafe like Haraz! They absolutely deserve the 5 star.
Well done,...
Read moreStopped by this new spot hoping for something fresh, silly me. The menu, decor, and vibe all screamed “Noor Cafe meets Qamaria, but make it lifeless.” Nothing original here, just recycled ideas with less personality. The service? Below average. The coffee? Barely worth a sip. Not even 50% as good as what I’ve had at Qamaria, and that’s being generous. But the real entertainment came when the owner got into it with a customer. The guy was clearly upset, and the owner responded by… smirking and looking away. Because what better way to win loyalty than to ignore complaints on your grand opening day? If this is how they start, I can only imagine the downhill journey from here. Thanks for the reminder that not every “new” place is worth...
