A good place to shop, priced higher than average, but decent selection and quality. Most of the staff is lovely, but I think management could have a little more faith in their regular customers that have been coming forever. I have cancer, and while I absolutely will take the majority of blame, sometimes chemo leaves me really confused, so I have paid for things twice at self check, and I have also forgotten to pay. Thankfully nothing major and I'm not saying people probably don't do that on purpose maybe.. but I really don't. What I am saying is that perhaps if some woman is wandering around looking baffled, it's likely because she is. Not because she wants to rip off the store she goes to almost every day. So while I know being stolen from (I really do know) feels lousy, they could keep in mind that some people have no interest in doing so and are just sick, or possibly stupid.. and ask, saving the accusations for the blatantly obvious. A decent place to shop. But be on your game because there are a few that love to assume and accuse. Bad enough to make a mistake such as that. Worse to not have the people you see all the time clearly make the judgement that you're stupid enough to make such an embarrassing error on purpose, despite your decades of loyalty and...
Read moreI came in one evening, just after 9pm looking to purchase a cake for my wife's birthday. Nothing fancy, literally the exact one she wanted - was in the glass case when you walk in - easiest sale you could make, but... I couldn't find any associates. No kne behind the counters, one the floor (close to our side) and several people at the register. A young girl finally popped her head out from a back room I said "hello -" she cuts me off and yells "we're closed!" I then just ask "I just need the cake that's in the glass case, can you boxnit up?" She then just yells again "we're closed, they're closed too" so I say "there's no one who can put that cake, that's made, in a box and sell it to me?" She just says "nope" So I leave my cart and I leave with my daughter and wife. I also work retail, I get there are rules...and someone coming in 2 hours before close gets frustrating as your trying to close up but then get pulled, I get they're are also levels of customer service that should be met. To tell me at a national grocery store, will not take my business because no one knows how to put a cake in a box - and take my hard earned money to pay for...
Read moreSo my wife made a stop here to grab sandwiches as we were going to a family members house to go swimming. The deli department had one member working who had no idea how to make a sandwich and put tomatoes instead of olives on the sandwich. Now I wouldn't bother writing a review about that but it took them 10min to make this sandwiches and then when my wife went to check out the bagger was making racist jokes to the cashier, and my wife happens to be Mexican and that was what he was making jokes of. He prompted another joke "what do you call a Mexican mowing lawn," when the cashier chimed in with "hey eddy hold that thought" which made them stop. This was after he had already made several comments but honestly the employee having no problem with making those jokes on the clock, around several customers at the check out line is enough to tell us they don't need our business.
Other than that the store is stocked well, just have to avoid...
