Hooch's Sports Bar & Grill Pizzeria — Restaurant in Roseville

I have to be honest the service and atmosphere is awesome and this is only based off of what I’ve experienced over the last two years. When I first went there, they had some amazing pizza, and they changed the entire way. They made it, and this wasn’t when the place was there. It was when they first opened up and I’m referring to hooches. I became accustomed to the pizza. It wasn’t as good as what they originally made but it’s still good. Their wings were really good, especially the buffalo wings, but I ordered this week, and they changed their buffalo sauce again. I recommend you go back to whatever you were doing for the last eight months. What you used last week and last night is some kind of a barbecue sauce and it’s not good. I frequent the establishment weekly at least twice a week. You guys need to go back to however, you were doing your wings before last week. I personally feel like if the head chef/cook is not there whoever is does what they like and they need to have continuity. Absolutely blown away by this gem of a pizzeria bar! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and full of character—so refreshing compared to the cookie-cutter feel of chain restaurants. The owners were incredibly personable and took the time to chat, making the whole experience feel even more special.

The food? Outstanding. Every bite tasted fresh, and you could tell the dough was made in-house—perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. Each pizza had that amazing, authentic flavor you only get when quality ingredients and real passion come together.

Love the location, nice bar and friendly staff (Johnny) met a regular. Beer was cold, many choices food (pizza) was outstanding, many TV’s. Is it a sports bar, restaurant or both? I couldn’t tell. But the place should considering doing something to draw people. This should be a neighborhood bar considering the large residential area. Friday night I shouldn’t be the only person in the establishment after 8:30pm. Bring in a band, do specials, do a bingo night, something because the place was dead for a FRIDAY night. Is there anything going on next Friday St Patty’s Day? Is there anything happening for March Madness? The place doesn’t open until 4pm a lot of college basketball games before 4 during March Madness.
