I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. Can’t count the hundreds of times my family and I have patronized this particular McDonalds. Never have had a complaint in all that time until about 2 months ago. I have been to this location 4 times over the last 2 months. Either owner or manager must have changed recently but here are my 4 experiences. 1. Went there at 7:30 am on a Saturday to order an Egg McMuffin. “Sorry we are out of muffins”. Really out of muffins on a weekend morning? There are two grocery stores literally across the street. Pretty sure you can get muffins there. Nice job ordering supplies there manager. 2. Went thru drive thru and asked to drive to “Spot #1”. Guy behind me was sent to “Spot 3” Girl came out with 2 bags of food. Went to spot 3 first and after what seemed more time than you would think she handed one of the bags. Came to me with the other bag and first question out of her mouth was can you repeat your order? Really ? When I told her what I ordered she looked into the bag and said I will be back. Came back about 5 minutes later. Food was correct but cold. 3. Went in drive thru and order a meal with a Sprite. “Sorry we don’t have Sprite. Again two grocery stores across the street. Offered me a substitute of some flavored Sprite they were promoting. I declined and change my preference to a coke. Ordered a couple of side items to go with the meal. Shown order on the screen which was correct. Got to the window and guy repeated what was supposed to be my order including a large flavored Sprite. I let him no that wasn’t what I ordered. After communicating with other employees up front still couldn’t figure out what I ordered. I told thanks anyway and just drove away. Had to wait for people in front of me of course. 4. Today went into drive thru. (I know just asking for trouble). Well I got it. It was 10:32am on my car clock. I ordered a burger meal. “Sorry we are only serving breakfast right now.” I thought breakfast was over at 10:30am. Anyone who watched Big Daddy knows that. So I asked what time are you serving lunch. The answer “we will be serving lunch in 3 minutes” Can’t make it up. Thanks anyway and I drove off knowing I will never frequent this location again. Nor will my family or friends if I have anything to...
Read moreI don't hate McDonald's by any means and the playgrounds are great places to take the daughter to play sometimes but I'm giving THIS franchisee 1 star because of THIS stores response to my wife after she reported to them that there was a person in the parking lot exposing himself to her in a VERY lewd and profane way from his car to her in our car (I wasn't in the car at that time and if I had been the situation wouldve prolly never happened to begin with but if it had would've ended differently for the mentally handicapped and sick person). I give my wife ENORMOUS amounts of respect for the way in which she handled the situation that Im sure was embarassing as much as demeaning! She simply communicated the details to the drive thru worker as best she could without breaking some law of abuse if the kid was in fact a "kid" and under 18 and when he was still acting like he didnt hear her or something she asked for his superviser to which he obliged though the "adult" was just as ineffective. He asked if the guy was still there to which my wife told him probably not. Then he said, "well, thats good, right?" And that was that. My wife left the parking lot feeling belittled and neglected. Where the sicko had perverse and hateful, the workers who I understand are most likely inept and incapable of proper help in these real life situations, looked over her and basically, by their inability to show concern or compassion corroborated the despicable act. My wife didnt want to file a police report, tho she shouldve, we know, she didnt want to do anything and knew there wasnt much that COULD be done and ahe understands as well as I do that an early to late twenties shift superviser and a 17 year old pimple faced high schooler are prolly not gonna be the worlds most compassionate guys but they showed ZERO and THAT WAS...
Read moreIn the afternoon I ordered an egg McMuffin and hash-browns at the drive-through. At the second window they unapologetically informed me that I would need to wait in the parking lot until they finished cooking my meal. There are three problems with this considering this is a fast food restaurant and I was ordering at the drive through. The first is they should have some egg McMuffins prepared just in case someone orders. The second is if they cannot prepare a meal fast enough they should not offer it on the drive-through menu. The third is they could have at least warned me at the speaker or first window that I would have to wait or should have given me the option of changing orders.
After parked my car, I walked inside to complain about this. I politely told the manager I should get a discount or perhaps a free small ice cream for this inconvenience. The manager laughed at me because she thought this request was ridiculous and said that at least my egg McMuffin was fresh. I then realized I was waisting my time with someone who doesn’t know anything about good customer service or empathy. I politely told her I would never come back again and left with my order. A 10% discount would have been enough of an acknowledgement for me to continue stopping by in the future. But, hey, at least my order was “fresh”, as if fast food can ever be...
