Panera Bread — Restaurant in Roseville

My older son just had surgery and asked me to pick him up soup ,I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed and emotional . I came in and my order came to 20 dollars I tried to hand them a $50 and the lady told me no walk to Wendy's they will break it we don't take that . As I walked across the parking lot trying to hurry because my son is at home out of it from surgery and I have another kid with me . I try to buy something to break it at Wendy's and Wendy's apologises and said they can't. So I walk back to Panera bread and ask to talk to a manager at this point I'm breaking down and crying a little trying to hold back my tears I told them Wendys can't break it, my meal here is 20 dollars my son just had surgery can you please break it . The manger is a Yong guy and he said sorry no it could be counterfeit .? I said can't you check it some how a machine or pen ? I can't drive somewhere and come all the way back . He said no pens don't always work as I'm crying more having a mental breakdown he starts to smile and laugh at me saying nothing he can do, I stay respectful and I said can I have a number to call to talk to someone and complain and he said he had no other information or numbers for me he was the manager .I left I have never been so embarrassed in my life . We come to panera bread all the time and spend a ton of money with our family and I will never be back in here . This is the first complaint I have ever left and I'm 37 years old I have 5 children and live right down the street from this Panera bread in rocklin . Sitting in my car getting ready to head back home empty handed ....

Highly disappointed with my latest visit. Normally we get excellent service and the food tastes great. Yesterday this was not the case. The cashier was nice and we had no issues with her. When our buzzer went off that our food was ready, I went to pick it up and noticed that our frozen blood orange lemonades were half melted. So I took my food to my table and asked a lady working there why they were so melted. She gave me the excuse that they do that immediately all the time and that it had just been placed up there with our food. Another customer turned and said that was a lie and that they had been there for ten minutes and never called a name for them. The lady working there just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders then walked off. Trying not to cause a scene, I go to sit down with my family to eat and notice that both mine and my daughters bread bowls had barely any of the inside taken out (not even 1/2) thus there was barely any soup. We get this every Wednesday that we come to a Panera bread for over 7 years and know that this is not how it is supposed to be made. Then my husband picked up his apple and it was half bruised and rotten. They did give him another after asking but these things shouldn't be happening and we shouldn't be met with excuses. The other food that was correct did taste good bit geez, we paid $42 for food and it really wasn't worth it for what we were served and how we...

I Do not recommend this location. We love panera bread and order it many times. However if you are considering panera do yourself a favor and choose another location. We ordered 2 chipotle chicken avacado melts and both of the sandwiches didn't have any avacado. Also we ordered a large mac and cheese but instead we received a small size. We placed our order through curbside pickup so we didn't see what is in the bag until we got home. Obviously when we saw the mistakes I called the Cafe. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and then they dropped my call. So I recalled again. Eventually I spoke with the manager. The manager was SO unprofessional. Instead she was telling me that I don't know my sizes and that they did not make a mistake but that I was wrong. I didn't even bother telling her about the missing avacados in our sandwiches she probably would of said that we are wrong and we don't see them. I would assume that a manager would be more understanding and customer friendly. Please If you are considering panera bread Do NOT go to this location unless you want to be unsatisfied with your food and/or mistreated...
