I've been a loyal customer at this Starbucks for 4-5 years, visiting almost daily for my morning coffee. As someone with two roommates who are supervisors at other Starbucks locations, I've seen what great service looks like, and this location has declined significantly over time. Maria consistently stands out as kind, welcoming, and professional, but the rest of the staff are disengaged, indifferent, and straight up rude. On multiple visits, l've experienced minimal interaction with no greetings, no "how are you," just a tablet handed over asking for a tip before payment with zero acknowledgment. Even with an empty drive-thru, l've waited at the window only to be met with silence or curt behavior and a tablet asking for a tip. This lack of warmth has made me feel disregarded, despite tipping each time in hopes of encouraging better service or boosting their mood. Like I said this location has been my go-to for almost 5 years but it now feels like the least customer-focused Starbucks in Roseville. Paris Baguette down the road and other nearby Starbucks offer far more welcoming experiences. While I've never cared much about cup drawings or messages, this one perfectly reflected my growing disappointment here. They also have a very entitled attitude and hide behind the fact that there is no face to face, meaning they are only drive-thru interactions with customers. When you say they got your drink wrong they argue and say they did not get it wrong. Why would I say that when I am the one ordering and paying for it? Who in Roseville CA canāt afford a Starbucks drink? Certainly I can, so can I just get what I am paying for? The two nearest Starbucks to this one are always nice, pleasant, and donāt mess up on drinks. I only go to this one because itās close to my house and on the way out to the highway so itās an easy stop. But I guess I have to go out of my way to never come here again. When I deliver to this location I'll typically order a drink. Now I will not. The store manager informed me this is a drive thru location only and I am to only get my drinks through the drive thru. Hello!? I drive for FedEx, my truck does not fit in the drive thru! I simply figured while I have to knock on your door to get a signature for a package, I'd also grab the drink (that I order in enough time so it will be ready by the time I knock).
