Thai Basil Restaurant — Restaurant in Roseville

STAY AWAY !!!!! My wife and business associates have been eating at this restaurant for YEARS...at a minimum of once per week. Food is good, and service has been good for the most part over the years. However, they have this tall, dirty blonde working their, who says she is the "manager" that ALWAYS is rude and very poor in terms of service. When asked to speak to the manager to complain about the service she went and got another girl, and when we were discussing our dissatisfaction with the service, she told us to leave and that she has the "authority" to throw us out, for complaining about the quality of service, and that every time she waits on our table the service is the same. poor. But, wait, when we asked to speak to the manager, she was not and had to go get her, then she became the manager, so she could throw us out over discussing our displeasure with the service. BEWARE, do yourself and your business associates, or friends a favor, go...

I wish I can give it a 5 star right now but I'll wait until I can see some customer service improvements in the future. Today I order a stir fry noodle dish and came home eating with my families and all of sudden I came upon a hair strand in the noodles. So I decide to give them a call and ask who I was speaking too, I repeatedly repeat couple of times because he didn't understand what I was talking about. I told him what happen and all he say was "what do you want me to do?" Really?! Wow!! Just wow! What a customer service skill you have over on the phone. I just immediately shocked over what he just say. I come there during times when I'm craving for thai dish noodles. I always tipped more than 20% of my total when I order their food to go or dine in. Over all their food is good. Next time I hope who ever answer the phone that day will improve their customer...

We are still in the process of finishing our meal, but it is SOOO GOOD, I had to stop and write a review. My girlfriend and i walked in not knowing that they had just closed(working late - wanting thai basil too bad to do anything else but get there. The woman up front kindly said we could choose from the wok or pad noodles if we still wanted something. I got the W7 (marinated beef with veggies and rice, and a sweet chili sauce. IT IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! I normaly order the G5, but this was a pleasant surprise. My girlfriend always gets the green curry, and there was no shortage of perfection there. Happy to see consistent service and food quality. Not to mention the polite service during closing time. It's hard to find people willing to go the extra mile and Thai Basil goes miles...
