Two stars, for the sole reason that I found something to purchase none other than a pack of security guards following me around like I was a hotdog out of the packaging rolling across the floor ready to be eaten. I kid you not, I walk through the door and I am not greeted but I am instead welcomed with the sound of every speaker screaming, “Code ten seasonal aisle, code ten seasonal aisle”. Seconds later I muster up the courage to continue shopping because there was an employee in every single aisle asking me if I was finding everything alright…not to my surprise I begin picking up items and see employees staring at me intensely as if I was carrying a huge target on my back. Not only did this affect my shopping experience, I notice the manager swing around the corner and ask me how I was doing as if that wasn’t the fiftieth question of the day… I thought they were running a contest to see how many times a person could ask me if I was finding everything okay, and doing alright—p.s. if a customer says they are doing perfectly fine, they are doing perfectly fine. That wasn’t really the tip of the iceberg either, I step into Register line 2 and a couple of ladies were checking out in front of me and had forgotten their phone on the sales wrap and of course I had gotten the attention of the lady before she had gone out the door. The thing that makes this imperative to the situation, is before the ladies had left there was no security. As for my arrival to the register, there had been security guarding the door and until I had paid the lady did not step away. As soon as I left, security did not continue to secure the perimeter or whatever you may call it. Moral of the story if you’re a teenage girl who loves shopping don’t shop here, they’ll just follow you around and make it a 10/10 most uncomfortable experiences ever.

Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite places to shop when I need anything for art, crafts, or home decor. They always have great deals and discounts, which makes it even more enjoyable to browse and find what I need. The store is clean, well-organized, and has a wide selection of items: especially during sale days! However, I’ve noticed that this particular location often seems understaffed. Every time I shop here, there’s usually only one register open, with a long line of 10–15 people waiting to check out. I really feel for the cashier and the customers—it’s a frustrating situation for everyone. Overall, it’s a great store with a lot to offer, but if you’re planning to stop by, make sure you allow extra time in case there’s a wait at checkout.

This was my first time at Hobby Lobby. My husband and I went to check out some Marvel memorabilia that he heard about. That is one huge lobby, let me tell you! My husband spotted the Marvel items right away, though. We ended up getting a nice Spider-Man & Venom canvas artwork piece & my husband is stoked! Sadly, we didn't get a chance to look around much, since we got there 15 minutes before they were closing. Darn! Oh, it was so busy, even at that time, so I'm guessing it's generally fairly busy during the day as well. The cashier was extremely nice! We can't wait to go back and see what other cool items they have.

We recently visited Hobby Lobby to return a few items and do some additional shopping. While the store itself is large and well-stocked with a variety of craft supplies and home décor, our experience with customer service was frustrating and disappointing.

The return process was unnecessarily complicated. The cashier struggled to process our receipt and seemed unsure of how to proceed. After a long wait, she had to call over a supervisor, which further delayed the process. To make matters worse, they refused to accept a damaged item we had received from an online order. We expected better, as it was clearly defective when we got it. Instead of being helpful or understanding, the staff seemed indifferent to our concerns.

Beyond the return issue, the overall customer service in the store was lacking. Employees didn’t seem particularly friendly or eager to assist. It felt like we were more of a burden than valued customers.

On the positive side, the store itself is spacious and has a great selection of craft supplies, decorations, and household items. We were able to find what we needed for our projects and left with a decent haul. The parking lot was also large, so finding a spot wasn’t an issue.

Unfortunately, the poor customer service overshadowed the convenience and variety the store offers. If you know exactly what you need and don’t require assistance, you might have a good shopping experience. But if you need to make a return or ask for help, be prepared for a frustrating time.

We may return for supplies in the future, but we’ll be hesitant to rely on Hobby Lobby for online...

I needed sand for a project. They had 1.5 lb jars for $4 and then they had a 6 lb box with assorted colors for $9.99.

I wanted one solid color but I figured for the price I'd go for the 6 lb box. There was one box that was torn and I brought that to the counter and asked the girl if she could discount it because it was torn. And she told me that she couldn't because only the outside was damaged enough contents inside and I asked her she could verify all the pouches were in the box and she said no I can't I'd have to open it I said well the package is compromised enough that all of it might not be there. And she refused to discount it. Now there were boxes with newer packaging that were marked $9.99 this Haggard box was marked 1199 and she would not mark it down she would not verify the contents and she was going to make me walk clear to the back of the store ticket one of the newer boxes going to take the damage box that would probably have to be salvaged out.

I understand crafting and whatnot but this place is just full of cheap home decor, with I'd say good 60% of stuff having some sort of religious undertone stuff that's not willing to think what's best for the customer and the store. I try to avoid Amazon shop local but I'll never stop putting that store again. Michael's Joanne Amazon hobby lobby you're not the only game in town. Your prices are overinflated and the actual retail cost is what you pay after you apply your coupon and heaven help you if your phone dies or you forgot your coupon and they will not cut...
