Cafe Stelios Breakfast Restaurant — Restaurant in Ross Township

I wish I could give a zero. I came in for the first time and loved the atmosphere and the menu options. I ordered Buffalo wings with ranch. When they came out they were not fried, they did not even have batter on them. I told the server nicely that I did not like my meal and if I could order something else to go. She took my plate and said “let me ask my manager “ I said okay, she came back with my plate and sat it back on the table and said he would take half off since I didn’t like my food. She brings the receipt back with full price, we said he didn’t take anything off, she stated the manager said he wasn’t going to take anything off because there was nothing wrong with the food. If I didn’t like it, I should have been able to voice that and have another option. Went to the register to pay and he automatically comes with an attitude, I’m explaining to him what’s wrong and he’s still trying to say I’m wrong for not liking my food. He was getting loud with me and being very disrespectful. He called the police and told me to Shutup so he can talk stating I was going to jail because I simply did not like my food. My family and I came here twice, both times had terrible service and wrong orders and horrible customer service. The first time was a steak skillet that was supposed to be medium rare but came out rubbery and over cooked. After waiting 25 mins for drinks we were so hungry that we were stuck with the food. They took 2 dollars off the order. The second time, the waitress was extremely rude from the moment she came to our table, brought me a lemonade instead of a tea and continued to be rude the rest of our time there. I ordered the Norwegian EGGS BENEDICT and was served HARD BOILED EGGS. So I got to sit starving while the rest of my family ate their food. They offered to remake it but I'm not going to bring poached eggs home to heat up and end up with over cooked eggs at home. They didnt charge my for my plate as they should not have because I did eat any of it, but they could have taken my ice tea and the childrens meal off of my order or AT THE VERY LEAST apologized to me. I have never been to a restaurant that has not apologized or taken more than 2 dollars off an order let alone to have these happen twice in a row. If I could I would give them no stars. I would rather go eat at Dennys and I freaking...

Was thoroughly disappointed today. Usually I have a great experience here but today missed the mark exponentially. Ordered French toast with seasonal berries and a side of chicken sausage to go as usual. This time my French Toast has a garlic taste and was burned as was my chicken sausage. As a matter of fact one sausage looked like a totally different type of meat (it was very dry and gray looking). I called to voice my displeasure and I offered to have the food remade or to be given my money back. I chose to simply have my money refunded or receive another meal of equivalent value on my next visit (I just worked midnights and was tired and just wanted to go to bed). Unfortunately I was told I needed to bring all the food back to the restaurant in order to be compensated. I’ve never heard of a policy such as this before... like ever... like at any restaurant EVER. Now instead of disappointed I feel insulted as if I have reason to make this up. What happened to the customer is always right? What if I worked dayshift and was at work, unable to leave? Tough luck I guess. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to patronize this business.
