Harold's Chicken & fish — Restaurant in Ross Township

This is not our Harold's!!!! I ate at this location +30x before its 'closure for remodeling',so Im well versed on how it tasted. This is NOT Harolds in any way,shape or fashion, even the mild sauce is different. This closure was a new owner buying it and using Harold's namesake with a fancy extension after Harold's to fool the community. They even sprinkled lemon pepper or some $h on the wings like Sharks & fries were just as bad. I love the revamped look inside the joint now,4 stars for that. Food = 1 star. Even the seasoning before the wings is cooked,like the batter is Indian or something. Any review after 2/2025 is telling the truth...this place wont be here in 2 years once. If you know what Harolds taste like and had this location prior: you will be 1 and done just like me. This location is under new management. According to the new owners they aren't affiliated with the Midwest Harold's chains, they are serving New York style Harold's... whatever that is. For Harold's Chicken Shack lovers that means no Harold's sauce and they serve those floured fries like Sharks. In fact do yourself a favor and skip this joint. The recipe, it's a little different, than the previous's chicken. i knew they were different owners, but I thought it would taste the same or be better. Also I ordered the gizzards, they were tough to chew. The catfish was not fried crunchy. It was not done, it was a little wet /mushy and the chicken season was off and not for the better.
