This is the second time Iâve ordered from this place and had a bad experience as far as customer service goes. I was spoken to and treated VERY rudely. While theyâre food is good, their customer service is bad.
I called to put in a call-in order around 8pm last night and was informed to come to their drive thru because they were closing at 8:55pm which was fine. Got there, placed the order and noticed that the order was wrong. I called to get it rectified and was told to bring the food back the following day⊠which was a crazy response. Not only was half of my order wrong, they told me it was correct (I was given two burgers that I didnât ask for in which the receipt indicated 1 burgerâ either way, didnât ask for a burger at all). The ladyâs best answer was to âsave the food, donât eat it and bring it back to us tomorrow.â
I have been eating from this place since I was a child but I likely wonât be returning. That was a ridiculous request in my opinion.
Horrible customer service and rude staff. I read some of the other reviews and itâs funny that the owner is even responding to the lower rated reviews calling them scammers or responding with negativity. Only further...
Read moreI have been visiting this place since I was a little girl with my parents. So, at least 20 to 25yrs. I would agree, hands down they have the absolute BEST gyros in NWI. I have eaten a lot of gyros in my lifetime and I can't express to you the level of quality and taste that the meat has. I spoke to the owner once and he told me that they serve the highest quality of gyros meat that no one else carries in the region. Their gyros sauce has that perfect kick to it, it's just amazing all around. Whoever is writing posts saying they are stingy with their gyros meat is wrong. All of their meat is weighed out. If I have it correct their gyros salad has 4oz. of meat, the sandwich has 7oz. and the platter has 14oz. They are first class. Also, the crew who cooks back there, my hat is off to you guys. They work really hard and are ALWAYS pleasant. I really wanted to write this review because yesterday I went and got a gyros from a new place in Hobart that I've never tried before. Yeah, booooooo, they can't hold a candle to King Gyros. I should've saved my money and got one at my tried and true. I love you guys! Keep up the...
Read moreWe just moved into the area and were in the mood for gyros so we decided we would try King Gyros. I'm so glad we did. I was greeted by their awesome employee Wanda who was super friendly. She gave tips on the menu and what to try. She even introduced me to Angel the owner who was back there working on the line with the other employees. The food was ready when I got there. Everyone was so friendly and it really made me feel like it was the neighborhood spot I had been going to for years. Now to the food! We ordered the gyro dinner plate and added 2 extra pitas to it (it comes with 2 already) and an extra tzaziki sauce. It also comes with fries, onions, tomatoes and feta cheese. Let me tell you, it was money well spent. There's plenty of gyros meat to make at least four gyros worth. The extras to top the gyros meat were plenty. They also have a delicious tzaziki sauce. All in all, it was really a great experience and I'm so glad they're just a couple blocks from our house. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner. The prices are spot on for what they serve and they make sure you get your...
