Wings Cafe — Restaurant in Ross Township

Update: about a month later, I finally had time to try again. The owner reached out and offered to replace my meal. I appreciate the genosity, and he kept his word. This man stands behind his food, and I retract my original review. My wings were done in 15 min, as he said. My wings were hot , fresh , meat fell off the bone, and had such great flavor. I order my sauce on the side cause I like to taste the food. The spot did not disappoint. 5 min from my job ...I'm coming back for the fish.

really wanted to like this place. I initially asked how long the wait for wings since I know obviously it's cooked to order. But I was told 5 min for my wings. Cool ok. 5 min. I had 5 min. She then took payment and said 15 minutes 😑 I didn't have 20 min to wait. As far as the food. The chicken was old. My 1st bite I tasted it. I grabbed another one same thing. Old. The crust was great. If it wasn't old I'd give 5 stars. But i was really disappointed. Now I'm scared to try...

When patronized black establishment let's just say it'd doesn't always goes well. Either the customer service is horrible, the food is overly cooked, or undercooked, the up keep of the established may need a little tlc, or its club music playing. I am very pleased that wings cafe did not follow into this Trend of black owner bad service. From the moment we enter into this establishment the owner son greeted my family and I. His customer service was topnotch. He was very professional, polite, and recommend things to eat. We order a large rib tip, hotlink, 4 chicken wings, gizzard and catfish. Costumer service needs a little fine tuning. I called in my order the young lady answering was dry and she was exactly the same when I picked up my order. I love to support black owned businesses. this is a fairly new location so I'll give them another try. I asked for fried hard did not receive that, the chicken was just ok hardly any seasoning.
