O.k. I went here under the impression this was a Classics Frozen Custard, but once we got there and while ordering our food, my man asked me what the number 1 was called. That is when I saw it was now a Caliche's Frozen Custard. I dont know when it changed, but it was a Classics before, and i haven't lived in Roswell, but a couple of years. At least it is still a frozen Custard place. It has the usual vanilla and chocolate frozen custard. But besides your very basic waffle bowl/cone optional sundae styles, they had shakes or blizzard style cutard deserts. There was a section that had their own twist with Custard in a cherry (and other fruit flavored slushies) slushy with candy toppings. I didn't try this, though. If it had been Rootbeer, maybe I would have, but it just didn't sound great. I was excited because they have Chicago dog's, so my expectations are low comparatively. I liked Sonic's, but they quit carrying it. I lived in Chicago in the summer of 1997. I have low expectations for one anywhere else. It was almost closing time, too. It was not good. But as I said, the dog was sitting in water for hours. It was almost closing, too. It didn't have a poppy seed bun, which is essential. I do not believe the dog was 100% beef either, but it was a walk-up place with nowhere to sit. I didn't think to ask until after I got home and tried it, but they were closed. I ate 3 bites. The Custard was great. It tastes as it is supposed to. All 3 of us ate a dog and got a dessert, and it was around 35.. my man had the meal. This was cheap compared to most places today. Overall, it is a desert place , it is winter, and they were about to close, so I took that into account and gave 4 stars.. if I go back, in summer during the day, It might be better, but I will stick with Custard, most likely, but I'll let you know.
As for the style restaurant, I never quite understood the whole walk up and order in places that experience all 4 seasons, just cause it is too cold at least 3-6 months out of the year. They make up for it, though, with a drive-through. It tricks you into thinking it is like sonic with the drive up order here parking, but all the menu/microphone/speakers like Sonic's have; either were never there or were un-installed. I guess over all 3.8 stars, the employees were nice. Especially since it was time to go home when I went.

Read moreI was recently involved in a minor fender bender while in the drive-thru at this location. One of the employees informed me that, if I needed access to security footage, I should reach out to one of the assistant managers.
Following that advice, I contacted Assistant Manager Jocelyn to request the footage. Unfortunately, the interaction was not handled professionally. When I asked, “Is this Jocelyn?” she initially responded, “No, this isn’t her.” I then clarified, asking, “Is this the assistant manager at Caliche’s?” to which she replied yes, implying that she was indeed Jocelyn. When I requested the footage, she abruptly said, “I’m too busy right now,” and ended the call.
I also reached out to another assistant manager, Meghan, via text, but did not receive a response. Ultimately, I was able to obtain the footage by contacting the main manager, who was helpful and professional.
The overall place is good, although, the assistant managers should be more professional with how they handle these types...
Read moreDon't go if you plan to eat outside. Only viable option is the drive through and that is slow.
The first thing you notice if you try to walk up and order is the massive amount of bugs. Something about the lights attracts them all so if you go after the sun sets, prepare to be bombarded. It's bad enough they have installed screens on the order windows to protect the staff. Too bad that doesn't do anything for the patrons.
The next thing you notice is that all of the outside seating is located with parking spots aimed right at them with no barrier. That means headlights and hot radiators in your face as you try and eat.
The food was hot and the custard cold, but neither of them were good enough to warrant dealing with the bugs and the seating. If you go here, hit the drive through and take it...
