Four years ago, I was searching for a bakery that offered creative cake designs. My goal was to find a professional pastry chef that has vision, drive, delight, and passion in creating a unique design of edible art. I was lucky to come across Liud’s website. I immediately realized the talent Liud possesses as I looked through the cake gallery on her website. In these past 4 years, Liud’s perfection in her art is evident in all the cakes she’s designed and baked for me. She’s brightened events including my daughter’s birthday, my older daughter’s college graduation, and my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. The anniversary cake is especially meaningful because I lost my father to cancer 4 months after my family celebrated his and my mother’s marriage ceremony.

My parents’ anniversary cake, my daughter’s graduation cake, and my daughter’s “Harry Potter,” “Louis Tomlinson/record player,” and “emoji” cake will always remind me of the days I celebrated special moments with my family.

*This is a genuine review based on facts I’ve personally experienced. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share my journey with people like myself that desire an attention grabbing center piece that offers the “wow”effect. Below, I included pictures of the birthday, graduation, and anniversary cakes created by Liud.

In fact, earlier today, I emailed Liud and asked her to do her magic and create another birthday cake for my teenaged daughter. This cake represents the highlights of the past 12 months for my daughter. She wants images of her favorite pop rock stars, Spider-Man, Hamilton, etc. I’ll post the picture after my daughter’s party. I have no doubt this design will produce similar feelings as all the prior cakes...

I’ve been meaning to go here for a long time. They are a full blown bakery first and foremost.

They later started making Cuban sandwiches for lunch and still do. I finally went and had one, oh my God!! Excellent bread and excellent portions between the different layers - the meats, mustard and the pickles and the cheese it all goes together perfectly with that crunch in that Cuban bread. They also make Cuban bread by the way.

Then there were the two sides - Cuban beans and rice side was amazing - great flavor tiny little bits of green and red peppers and other herbs and spices really knocked it out of the park - sometimes black beans and rice lack flavor this one totally different off the charts.

Then there was their coleslaw. I am very picky about my coleslaw. They mix theirs with a little bit of mayo and a little bit of vinegar not too much on one of the other to take one out along with cilantro and salt and pepper - oh my God great coleslaw really goes well with the Cuban sandwich.

Then there was a cute little cupcake pops - delicious moist strawberry flavor was perfect.

They’re known for their cakes, I’ve had a few as well. Custom cakes custom designs they got a lot of materials you can look through to help decide.

Service was great came in got that smile and immediate attention, very helpful in helping me decide what to do on the sides give me ideas and suggestions. What a great place.

The inside there’s nowhere to sit but there is outside seating so if it’s a bad weather day you’re going to take it to go.

Plenty of parking even for geese!

Extremely Disappointed after paying over $400 for a cake that wasn’t as we had discussed despite sending multiple photos and emails (because you can’t actually talk to the decorator themself) and depend on email communication and a receptionist to relay the message to them. I paid for the cake ahead of time which was a mistake and had my son pick it up. I wouldn’t be writing this review (actually can’t remember the last review of a business that I’ve done) if they had been willing to put ANY effort into fixing their mistake and making it look better which would have been as simple as pulling the cap off the top and making a new base for it so it actually looked like the graduation cap photo I sent them and not some very ugly tall caricature of a graduation cap. The top cake was way out of proportion and wasn’t even similar to what I sent them. I understand the difficulty of fixing this after the fact. It Looked strangely out of proportion! There were some aspects of the cake I liked, but my biggest complaint was it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing, they didn’t produce what we discussed, I wasn’t allowed to speak to anyone who was actually producing the cake (their excuse was that they make 50 cakes a day, but if you’re paying that much there actually needs to be communication, and no one wanted to put any effort to try to make things better) Of course once again I wasn’t allowed to speak to the decorator or owner (apparently more than on decorator there) The first cake they did one year ago was great.
