I LUV PHO ROSWELL — Restaurant in Roswell

Left with a bad taste in my mouth today after the service I received. We have 3 people, ordered 3 dishes. I had to repeat multiple times for the boss lady to note it down. She repeated them back to me. Everything seemed good. Orders came out. One was wrong, one was missing. Somehow she managed to screwed them up walking away from my table. She then proceeded to argue with me on how I ordered wrong, not her taking it down incorrectly. Like what's the hell! We knew what we wanted and it was only 3 dishes, even my daughter remembered it and she is 7. After I had enough with her arguing and told her that she should not argue with customers when the orders were taken down incorrectly because frankly, we knew what we want to eat, she apologized sarcastically and told me to speak very slowly so she could take the orders again correctly. At this point, there are only 2 dishes. Still struggling so she called another server over. At this point, I just gave up and ordered food for my husband and hopefully they can cope with one dish. And hallelujah, it came out 10 mins later and he could eat. I didn't ask or expect any discount, I just want to be treated with respect as a customer. If you screw up, apologize and get the orders right. I like the food (compliment to the chef) and I'm happy to support local business by paying for my food generously. Just don't treat me like I'm an idiot that doesn't even know how to tell another person what I wanted to eat. It's absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful. So food is tasty, service has a lot to be desired. Such a shame as there are not many Vietnamese...

It's a chilly afternoon and it's lunch time, you go to I Luv Pho. This location opened earlier this year and is off of busy Holcomb Bridge Road in the Ross and Marshalls shopping center. It's a shopping center so lots of free spots, it is pretty busy so you may not find a spot directly in front of the restaurant.

I arrived around 11am and it was empty but around 1pm it was pretty full. They have several vegetarian friendly items.... which I love, including veggie broth pho.

I ordered a combination: tofu/ veggie pho and an avocado banh mi. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach so I ordered a shrimp appetizer also. The combination comes in half and full, the full was definitely too much so I would get the half next time. Food: *Fried shrimp - 5 for $6.95. Not very flavorful and not a fan of the dipping sauce, It looked like frozen fried shrimp. I was expecting the Asian prepared fried shrimp.

*combo special - veggie pho and a whole Avocado banh mi - $14.95. Menu said it came with a drink but we didn't get one. Sandwhich had lots of Avocado slices and had a pretty good taste, I would order again. Soup was excellent, filled with veggies and great flavor.

*Hot ginger tea - $2.45 or 3.95, no refill, although it was good, the price is too much for no refill

Terrible service. Came in for lunch and the owner essentially rushed me to pay and leave. I sat down at 10:55 and received my food roughly 10 minutes after. I’m not sure because i went to the restroom. After sitting down , it took me 30 minutes to eat and as I was taking notes before my next shift as a nurse, she forced me to pay at the table when i have paid at the door every time i have came. I said can i pay when i leave out. She said no, pay right now. And after paying, someone came and cleared my food. I was not finished. Very disappointed. I have ate at this place over 5 times. The customer service overall, it’s not very friendly or inclusive. But i understand post pandemic , has created a great deal of stress in people lives. No one has smiled at me once and as a mental health nurse i like to spread kindness because i acknowledge that you never know what’s going on. It is my hope that you have a better experience. Because again the food is good but the customer service needs to be improved as easy as a smile. People can tell when you are judging them and i will no longer dine in at a place where i had such a negative experience. To be clear, courteous care is not quiet care.
