It wasn’t Tuesday but I had a taste for Mexican food. I happened to be in the area visiting a friend and decided to see what was close. I stumbled upon this location by chance and Blu am I happy I did.
Upon walking in, the first word that comes to mind is simple. The design setup is simple and the main attraction is the menu. The menu is filled with an abundance of choices that make your mouth water as you read them.
You place your order at the counter then your food is brought to you. I decided on the Steak Jumbo Burrito Small side of Rice and a Seasoned Chicken Taco
When I tell you mouth-pleasing! Everything on the table was seasoned and cooked to flavor perfection. The Burrito is very meaty and packed with meat and fixings. The flavor profiles presented combine to make a bite after bite enjoyable experience. The steak was seasoned very well and meaty. They are not stingy with the meat at all. GoMeat!
The rice was exactly what I was yearning for. Well seasoned. Perfect tenderness. Not soggy. Not hard and paired well with everything on the table. By itself or combined with something, the rice holds its own and delivers a strong hunger soothing impact.
The Seasoned Chicken Taco is different from the Grilled Chicken Taco. Though they are both grilled, the Seasoned Chicken Taco has a spiced flavor profile and it is awesomeeeeeeeeeee. Perfectly grilled chicken combined with a spicy kick that is flavorful and not overpowering, this bite is great on its own as a pairing to or an appetizer.
Heads up, they don’t have Ground Beef tacos on the menu (current as of 08/26/21). However, there are more than enough options to get your taste desires satisfied.

Read moreWe visited Taqueria San Pancho on 5/24/25, while in Roswell from Florida. The food is amazing. This is easily the best Mexican food I’ve had in my life. The food not only tastes great and fresh but the portions are hefty - rare combo. The cashier is not friendly but it’s not a big deal. This is a counter order place, and they bring the food to your table with a number. They were super quick and efficient even though it’s all made to order. Lots of different meat options for each dish. I got taco salad with have chorizo half steak / beef. Hubby got the wet burrito with chicken and it is sooo good and fresh and smothered in this super delicious sauce (tasted like a mix between mole sauce and tomato sauce) and cheese. The self serve condiments bar is awesome too. The onion looking things there almost literally lit my mouth on fire they are so spicy! But if you are into that great, haha. The pico and the green sauce at that condiment bar is really good. Overall this is a great and highly affordable place with excellent food at a great value. There is zero atmosphere to speak of but the food...
Read moreMexican food is one of my favorite food to eat whenever I want to grab a quick bite or if I have time , sit at leisure and spend enough time to dine. There are hundreds of Mexican restaurants around Atlanta area, some are tex mex and then there are the real Mexican food places. San Pancho is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in this area. This place is close to the 400 exit is quite busy. The interior may not be too appealing, but their food is amazing. The service is quick too. Whenever I pass by this area I always stop here to grab a bite. Their salsa bar is great with fresh veggies and variety of spicy salsas. I love their red and green salsa. The food is always fresh , the tacos are fresh, soft and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. It's a treat for spicy food lovers. I have tried their enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, and have never been disappointed as I always got tasty food here. If you want to eat real Mexican food , you should be at a place where the natives eat. You won't be...
