I grew up eating Taco Bell and I have only now started to eat real tacos. There is no comparison. Real tacos are delicious and so worth it. This place has great tacos. We tried the pollo/chicken, asada/steak tacos and the burria quesotacos. All three meats were flavorful and moist. The corn tacos doubled up to absorb the liquid. So the outer one stayed a little toasted. Delicious! It takes a little time to get your order but worth it. It had a drive thru I can understand how they could be quick enough for that. I wish they had more salsa choices. But the few they had with the small salad toppings were good. I will definitely be back to try more. I asked if they used pork in the beans and the server at the counter said no, so I’m curious to find out more. Usually at least pork fat is used. For those who can’t eat pork that may be an option if true.

El Indo has other locations and each location is a little bit different in taste of the food. I am glad I came to try this location because the food was good and I would like to try other menu items. I believe that this place could taste better if the kitchen staff had a little more sence in some culinary knowledge. For example, I order los camarones a la diabla and the sauce that they cooked the shrimps in was loose, if they would have cooked the sausse longer and thicken it, the taste would have been Street ahead. As a side note, there is a price difference if you pick flour tortillas over corn. They charge you more. This is the first restaurant I encountered that does this. Maybe it's a new practice, but it took me by surprise.

I've now enjoyed this place twice, once dining in and another time using the drive-thru for takeaway. Both times, the food was fantastic. What really stood out to me were the generous portion sizes, which felt very fair given the current economic climate. Would highly recommend item number 17. Guisado de pollo and item number 27. Birria Plato. My takeaway order was prepared and ready remarkably fast considering it was a full meal, and I really appreciated the careful packaging – absolutely no spills or leaks. Definitely a great spot!

I don’t even know where to start with this restaurant which I will NEVER spend another dollar on I’ve spent over $500 with this restaurant per month on DoorDash I always order the Norris with ramen AND THEY ONLY PUT BIRRIA IN THE RAMEN WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT and its advertised as birria ramen with birria meat inside!!! I always add a note to my order reminding them to put the birria meat in the ramen and they never do it and at this point it’s on purpose! I even had my boyfriend go there to the restaurant and order and let him know to tell them he said as soon as he told them they looked at him crazy as if they were offended and still DID NOT PUT BIRRIA IN THE RAMEN!!! If you’re going to do what you wanna do then how about you just pay for my order then their customer service is horrible! My last final straw was when I reminded them once again to add birria to my ramen instead they added a bunch of oil literally noodles in a bucket of oil I got extremely sick and I honestly feel like they tampered with my food on purpose from getting annoyed that I’m always requesting to have birria in my ramen as advertised!!! Will never eat at this...

I have to say, the food at El Indio is absolutely amazing—delicious and well-prepared. However, the customer service at the reception/check-out area is severely lacking.

I had a specific dish in mind that I had enjoyed before, but when I asked the girls at the counter for help finding it, they barely made an effort. I described the dish to them, hoping for some guidance, but they didn’t seem to care. Feeling ignored, I ended up ordering something else since I didn’t see what I wanted on the menu board.

Once I sat down, I decided to check their website, and to my surprise, I found the dish I was looking for. When I went back to show the cashier, she simply pointed to another section where more options were listed—something she could have told me earlier instead of dismissing me. The way she handed me back the menu felt condescending, and it left me feeling embarrassed and frustrated.

Great food deserves great service, and unfortunately, the lack of attentiveness from the front staff really took away from the experience. Hopefully, they work on improving their customer service because the food itself...
