The Downtown Pooch — Local services in Roswell

My dog and I are regular visitors to the Downtown Pooch. The food brands they carry are top quality, and the owner and staff are knowledgeable about pet nutrition. They also have the cutest toys and bandanas and dog beds and shampoos, etc., not to mention a gazillion chew bones and treats! But the experience itself is what sets them apart. Like so many of our neighbors in the area (and even visitors to Roswell) my dog and I pass by the Pooch on our daily walks along Canton Street. Birdy always insists that we go in because they spoil her with attention and treats! It's become a part of our daily routine. Clean and bright interior, happy and welcoming environment, plenty of parking in the back, and rocking chairs and a bench on the big front porch if you want to sit and relax while your dog eats some ice cream. I love this shop it is in a really quaint old part of downtown Roswell. The shop has super cute has practical dog items, dog gear, and treats. They have more boutique items compared to other big box stores. However I wish they carried more giant /XL breed items for my boys but they do carry more items then most places. They also have the cutest dog themed home decor too. I love hitting this shop while walking around downtown before grabbing something to eat or coffee. Excellent selection of healthy high-end treats, food, and toys. Staff Extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and special order stuff. Also a great front porch for sitting in a rocking chair and sharing a water with your pup in the middle of a long walk.
