Ordered on the app for breakfast at 10:40 am. Got a text saying that order was modified or cancelled. I called the store and they said they cancelled my order because breakfast ended at 10:30. The app told me 11:00. When i mentioned this i was given a sarcastic answer that the app is wrong. And the associate hung up. No compassion at all, no trying to make it right. Tried to call back and they talked over me and hung up. Then ignored future attempts.
I was charged for the order and the payment was not refunded. So i guess we’re not eating today. Whole house is sick.
I’m calling corporate customer service next but of course hold time is 30+ minutes and counting. I’ll also be visiting the store in person and contacting the store manager itself.
Edit: got through to support from somewhere overseas. The agent half heartedly listened to my story and offered to issue a refund. I asked if there was anything for inconveniencing the customer? He took another few minutes to talk to his boss and comes back saying he can offer 5$ credit in app.
I asked about the app issue itself, and get met with a “we are aware of the issue and are working on it” response.
So tired of the way these fast food companies short the customer. Then it takes so much legwork on our end to get it corrected.
If they get an order wrong they look at you like you’re trying to scam them and fight you over it.
Edit2: Family ordered them for dinner against my protest. They forgot half the order and placed random items with part of it.
They now have the phone off the hook to avoid customer service calls.
I guess i get to go by car (even though it was ordered for delivery) while sick, to the restaurant and argue for missing...
Read moreI usually go through the drive through, but tonight my husband and I took our 7-year-old out to Wendy's because it's his favorite. When we walked into the restaurant we noticed there wasn't one clean table to sit at. We picked a table and had to ask someone to clean it so we could eat there. Then, after ordering our food, we went to fill our drinks. The drink machines, the entire counter, and the floor around the drink machines were filled with old sticky spills and finger prints. It was disgusting. After we saw that area we took a look around. Not only were there no clean tables, but the floor under those tables were filled with garbage. The entire store was a mess! We told the manager who clearly didn't care about the cleanliness of the place and did not have any one of the staff come out and clean until we mentioned how disgusted we were with everything. We took our food out to our vehicle to eat after I brought my son's burger back in because they got his order wrong. We finished eating in the car and when I got out to throw away our garbage, I noticed all the garbage on the ground outside, and not one outside garbage receptacle around the entire building!! Read moreWent here after years of not having Wendy’s and it wasn’t great at all, the burger I got was some bacon mushroom ranch and the ranch reminded me of what hot dogs taste like, it was a nasty flavor, we got employees congregating as if it was the high school cafeteria, older looking employees congregating in the dining area with family members chatting it away while the place was dirty, maybe wipe down the area where the lids and ketchup are at instead of chatting it away, that spot was so filthy, the glass around the benches was dirty with food dried up on it, ketchup, cheese? Who knows. The pop machine was filled with ice cubes, I’m assuming from people pouring their drinks since a lot of the pop on the left side machine tasted disgusting, I know. But nope just chatting it away the workers sitting on top of whatever they were sitting on on the back section of where they were you know supposed to be working, instead of cleaning something. Geez even a small trash can in the restroom was rusted, cmon Wendy’s get a grip on this establishment. Have them clean the dirty glass windows and door.
