Absolutely hands down the best halal grill in Round Rock. I go there almost every afternoon. The food is amazing. The portions generous. I want to try everything on the menu. The service is great, they're nice and pleasant but really quiet. From the guys behind the grill to the person at the register - don't expect there to be any small talk. Of course they greet you and say thank you. But idk. I feel like they could be a bit more friendlier especially to customers they see as regulars. Like literally no one's ever spoken a full sentence to me. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but it makes me feel kind of uninvited. I know the culture it's not that boring and quiet. In fact it's so extra and inviting. Don't get me wrong I will continue to go there daily. But I haven't ever sat down to eat inside because again, I'm alone and I feel really awkward. You'd think the owner or someone would ask my name and like argh it's so hard to explain.. you know like you go to an Italian restaurant or Greek and they are all over you and chatting with you getting to know you and you feel warm and comfortable and feel like being there. Food isn't all about taste, it's also about the experience and overall entertainment. Id eat in of I was with someone but alone, idk. The point of the review isn't about the guys that work there. It's about how amazing the food is. Almost everything I've tried thus far is delicious. Now I think the prices are okay. The hummus is great but like a small side of it is like 6 dollars. That's a bit high for hummus and 1 pita bread I feel. It should be like 3 dollars. The Greek salad could use some more veges feta cheese and cucumbera or olives. I felt like that by itself wasn't enough. It's not going to replace a meal it's like 7 dollars I believe. But all in all guys.. this is a really good place to grab halal Middle East meals. When my family comes I will take them here. Until then I'll just grab take out from them. You gotta try it, trust me it's really good. I wouldn't have spent all this energy giving them such a detailed honest review if I didn't feel like it's good. They pack the order really neatly nothing is spilling over you always get silverware and some napkins. Note to owner: you need some cheerful upbeat type of people at the register. Whys everyone so serious that works there. Oh and the baklava looks so good I'm gonna try it next time but I'm not paying 6 dollars for one piece cmon now!! Lol
It's a must go and try the food place. Ignore the small things above you'll be glad I guided you here. Thank me by giving the review a thumbs up if it helped....

Review:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aladdin Halal Grill, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere.
The food at Aladdin Halal Grill exceeded my expectations. Not only did they offer a wide variety of mouthwatering options, but their vegetarian menu truly impressed me. I decided to try their eggplant wrap, and I was blown away by its deliciousness. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the eggplant was cooked to perfection, resulting in a satisfying and belly-filling meal.
What truly set Aladdin Halal Grill apart was the impeccable service. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They gladly accommodated any special requests and made sure that my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. It was evident that they genuinely cared about their customers' satisfaction.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. The cozy decor and soft lighting created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Whether dining alone or with a group, Aladdin Halal Grill provided a welcoming space to enjoy a delicious meal.
I would highly recommend Aladdin Halal Grill to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, their menu has something to satisfy every palate. With exceptional food, a great vegetarian selection like the eggplant wrap, and top-notch service, Aladdin Halal Grill has certainly become one of my favorite dining...
Read moreWe have visited many Arab founded restaurants in Austin and one in North Round Rock. We live close to this one and I am giving this restaurant a 3 for now, at least for in-house dining.
The good: The beef and chicken schwarma was excellent. Rice and hummus were excellent. Bread was tasty. Service was reasonable.
The OK: The minced beef skewer was ok. Less favorful than some others we have had.
The not ok for in-house dining
All food is still served on disposable plates and one uses plasticware. Other restaurants in this price point have begun serving food on restaurant quality plates and metal flatware post COVID.
No baklava or filled rolls. They ran out. Dessert we selected was served in the commercially packed box. The plastic fork was not strong enough to break through the cold (maybe frozen?) cream. A knife was needed. They should at least take it out of the box, zap it a bit in the microwave, and add a bit of whip cream.
No cream for Turkish coffee. I have had Turkish coffee in the homes of many Eastern Europe and Middle Eastern households. Warmed cream is always available.
Tabbouleh was fresh but very salty. The other side salad was bland... no seasoning. The tomatoes tasted a bit old.
Many of these concerns are less relevant for takeout. The food and presentation as it is currently practiced is great for takeout.
This is a shame for a restaurant with pretty hanging lights and good seating.
We will check back in three months to see if there is an improvement in in-house service and the...
