I usually never had any issues with this place until a week ago at peak lunch hour.
Before going into work on an evening shift I decided to pick up lunch and drinks for my shift at the hospital. The couriers at the time were in a rush to deliver food and drinks for the two lanes of traffic. Which, is normal for that time of day. While i was getting my order the courier that handed my my glass let go of my large tea before I had a good grip on the cup. The entire contents ended up emptying on my floor board of my car that I had detailed 6 days prior. I'm fortunate in my panic that i didn't get hit with the busy traffic and got to the first open parking space to try and get my car clean. The employee did clean it out with rag and apologized but the inside was still soaking wet and I had less than 10 mins to get to work on time. In all my life I've never had this happen to me in a drive through before.
So in route I did what anyone would do and I call the store manager at the store to complain, prevent this from happening to someone else, and hoped they would at least compensate for a detailing on just that side. No one wants sticky tea left over 8+hours sitting in the heat without clean up while you're at work. All they said they can do is give a free meal, their apologies, and that's it. I declined and feeling unsatisfied I ended up calling their Main Customer service line and filed a complaint.
I told them that the couriers need to go slower while delivering food/drinks and it could prevent this happening again to another person. Heaven forbid if it was a milkshake/hot coffee or otherwise something that could really stain a car's carpet. The person on the customer service line was very nice. She took my information and would pass it along to the store owner, and I would hear back soon, that they would make this right.
So I gave them over a week with no reply from the Chic Fil A owner. I called the customer service line again on the 16th. Retold them what happened and that its been over 6 business days and I haven't heard back from the store owner. They again apologized that it was taking a while for me to get a reply and she would resend my info. again to get a response back.
So today I got called back from the Executive director about mid afternoon. I again told them what happened and that since its been a few days since the incident happened that I went ahead a redid and totally cleaned my carpet (i didn't want my carpet to smell or other wise). Again he expressed that he was sorry but other than the employee cleaning out my car what else did I expect out of them. The director even went as far to tell me in an other wise rude and condescending tone, that If I was at Mcdonalds and this happened, they wouldn't have even cleaned up the mess.
After that the director was pushy asked what can they do to make this right? I was pretty much done and tired of the bullying act at this point. I calmly told the Director that I didn't want anything after how they were acting, i'm not doing business with their company, and that I expected more out of Chic Fil A and their customer service with which they seem to pride themselves on. After dealing with their management, they seem just as cut throat as they rest of the big corp. restaurants out there. When something goes wrong they just push it back on the customers and have lousy attitudes. All I can say is thankfully i didn't have a soda/milkshake spill on the floor or worse case scenario a hot coffee empty out on my lap.
So bottom line folks. Make sure you have a good grip on your drinks when they deliver it to you. If you have a complaint, do not expect much out of the management there. They are not pleasant to deal with and are a far departure from what the act...
Read moreChick Fil-A is always a 5-star rating for me. No question. Love their food AND their service. The whole "My Pleasure" when you thank them; it's just quality! On this night, however, I was taken aback by how non-understanding the girl in the drive through was. I placed a mobile app order, went and picked it up. I get all the way back home before I realize that they missed one of my drinks. So I drop the food off home, including mine so I know it will be cold by the time I get back to eat it, and head back with my receipt to get my missed drink. When I get back into the drive through line, I go to the same girl and let her know what happened. As she was communicating with the crew inside I asked her kindly if she wouldn't mind upgrading it to a large drink instead of a medium, you know, for my troubles and all... She said No! Asked to see my receipt so she can show me that I ordered a medium (as if I didn't know I ordered a medium). Rather than sit there and deliberate with her, I went home with my medium lemonade and ate my cold Chick Fil-A. At least my family got warm food.
I know this is a single, isolated event, but you represent your organization in the way you treat people, especially when you are client-facing. We go there plenty so I trust my experiences in the future will win them back their 5-star rating. Let's see...
Read moreI have come to this location several times and every time my order is wrong. Three different occasions I have come to this Chick-fil-A and either things are missing from my order or the items are entirely wrong, last month I got home and realized that my order was wrong and when I contacted this location the manager expressed that they have a policy preventing them from doing refunds over the phone, which meant I would have to drive back to the location to get a full refund or could be placed in a managers book to receive a replacement on the missing items for future orders I opted for the second option to be placed in the manager book for future orders. Fast forward to today, I go by this Chick-fil-A and the order was wrong again. I requested the items that were missing from my previous order and addition items and the order was wrong again. Once more I contacted the location and let them know that additional items on my order wrong and they gave me the same options to resolve the issue as before, I feel like if you canât get a simple order right twice why inconvenience the customer to have to drive back to your location to get a refund. Itâs such a lack of respect! Never going to this Chick-fil-A location again. The audacity to ask me if I would be okay with re-adding my name to the managers list...
