I went in today again for the second time since we loved it so we ordered more than last time and ordered thai tea for each. The server Max did not give us the right order of thai tea - we asked thai tea with food but then he brought us the thai tea with boba. So then we just politely asked that we ordered without boba. Then he seemed really frustrated and upset. Then when our food came he started just dropping the order. It was fine since we understand that he could be frustrated. When the time to pay came, they charged us extra for a dollar for each food we ordered. Panang curry was 11.45ish but we were charged 12.45 and Chokdee noodle was 10.45 while we were charged 11.49?ish. Pineapple fried rice and thai tea was the same but they charged us extra for no reason. We ordered all in pork meat so there was no reason to put extra amount for each. It was a really sneaky move of them thinking we wont notice this We really like the food but the way how they mistreat a customer and charge extra just because they made a mistake and we asked to get it right way. Really disappointed with them. We were going to complain for this issue but we just decided to not go back to this business since there was other great thai places too. I guess they wont care since people will like their food. ————-below was first visit————————— Sunday 8/15 Went in today for lunch. Thai tea was the best thai tea ever (i love thai tea) Egg roll was really crispy! The food was awesome. We ordered little spicy but was not spicy for us so next time we will definitely get it hotter! Overall great thai food place! Except waiting time was quite long but hopefully that will get better. Definitely will come back!!

Short: nobody knows what they're doing yet. Significant growing pains and not enough training. Let's start with the okay: Thai tea is bog standard, but in a cute glass Pad Kee mao tastes good. The noodles look less "cut" than "brutally torn apart" chunks and bits everywhere. It seems they had the right ingredients but they didn't figure out how to cook the thing. Now the bad: The crab rolls, recommend by a few here, taste worse than the ones I got from Costco. They give you 4 teeny rolls with a sauce that conflicts with the flavor. Then the tale of two dishes: 1. The Tom yum has more seasonings than liquid. We ordered a full pot and got 4 slices of chicken, a handful of ginger and wilted bay leaf. Saw no lemongrass and no noticable lemongrass flavor. 2. Pannag curry has only two things in the soup: red peppers and chicken. The rest is all liquid. No noticable herbs, I would barely call this "red curry", much less anything else. Menu states "smoothies made with real fruit" but when confronted, they admitted that the avocado smoothie was made with powder.

This is an amazing little gem, wish it was more known. The service was very kind, They even gave us a spring roll on the house! the atmosphere was okay, only thing they didn’t have wifi when we went so there was no music. but that happens sometimes i understand. The food was absolutely incredible. everything was fresh, tasty, flavorful. We had 2 smoothies, one out of mango, one out of honeydew. It was absolutely incredible. Made out of fresh fruit and the mango was so creamy! We also got Tom Kha with shrimp, and Tom Yum with beef. We couldn’t stop sipping on both of them. The shrimp in the Tom Kha was cooked to perfection. it was so tender. Same with the beef. Very nice flavor profiles. then we got the Pad-Se-Eew with Flat rice noodles and seafood combo. We absolutely loved it. And then came the best part, the mango sticky rice 😍 Honestly the best i’ve tried in all of Austin area so far. I would recommend this place to anyone, and can’t wait to come back again.

I would give this place a negative rating if I could. I ate lunch with my husband, and then I paid the bill and the manager brought back the receipt with out my credit card. I inquired as to where it was and she said she did not know. My husband even said that he did not see her give it back. She proceeded to wait on other tables and I told her I needed her to find my credit card and I wasn’t leaving until she did. She would just say she could not find it and sorry there was nothing she could do. Both my husband and I went behind the counter as it was a short distance from the register to our table and did not see the card anywhere. I then called the nonemergency police number and was waiting for an officer to come and then I called my credit card company to cancel. While I was on the phone canceling my card, she said oh I found it on the floor. I honestly believe that she planned on keeping it, and when I would not leave, she decided to give it back. I don’t like to jump to conclusions, but I gave her plenty of chances and after waiting a long time I had a gut feeling she knew what she was doing. She even said what else can I do for you but I can’t find your card so sorry. By not leaving and knowing that I called the police and was canceling my card, she miraculously found it. I still canceled my card which causes me inconveniences, but I would rather do that then have charges on my account because she got all of my information off my card. She wasn’t looking in the beginning because she knew what she did. She was helping other people and saying she could do nothing for me. Obviously I scratched them off my list of places to eat. Bad enough they charge $3.00 for a...

We opened with four sticks if chicken satay, served with the traditional peanut sauce and a thin, light cucumber concoction that I'd never had before, which was quite tasty with a sweet l clear liquid with cuke chunks making for a refreshing change of pace.

Both my spouse and i had curries, she chose the pineapple curry with pork, i selected the massaman with chicken. Both were large bowls of awesome served with a mound of perfectly fragrant jasmine rice. Each was generously meaty and a very well balanced flavor profile. The big and interestingly cut chunks of potatoes in my massaman had just the right amount of give - not mushy and not a rock. Her pineapple curry was really well received; she had never eaten at a Thai restaurant, the only Thai food she'd had to this point was what I'd made at home which would only be adequately described as mediocre and inauthentic ;). We were very thrilled with the experience, and Chokdee was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant definitely seems like a family operation. The love shows in the food.

With kids and finicky palates, Thai restaurants had not yet made it back to my radar, but an opportunity was presented and my better half felt adventurous. It was a complete victory of a meal. She's excited at the expanded menu, and we figure at least one of our fry will...
