I came in this week, this is my normal Juiceland since I work right around the corner. I always have a pleasant visit as I'm just going in and picking up. I rarely order inside. Usually the ladies working there are prompt and so very polite, I'm always greeted with a smile. Well this visit was the opposite. I ordered online ahead of time, to make my own lunch time go faster. When I walked in the gentlemen behind the counter continued his conversation with another customer sitting at a table, he didn't acknowledge me walking in, AND didn't ask if I'd like to order. I stood at the counter so long I told myself "I'm gonna time how long it takes for him to acknowledge me" I stood there for 50 seconds. No other customers in line, I stood right in front of him, I heard their whole conversation unfortunately. I honestly feel like that was just disrespectful, distasteful and just down right RUDE. I've never been ignored while standing face to face with a cashier. He didn't apologize about it either he just looked at after 50 seconds and said "how can I help you?" I told him I placed an order online and I'm here to pickup, my name was misspelled (had a b in place of an n) but my name is Danielle, it's not hard to tell which order was mine. He handed me my order and said "you spelled your name wrong" like.. yeah. Thanks? I just don't ever wanna visit if workers like him are on duty. I'm usually in high spirits before and after Juiceland, I use my points often on visits I try new things on the menu, and to be just flat out ignored was just unacceptable. I wouldn't want anyone to be treated that way. Hopefully this is a learning lesson to that man, but reading the room I doubt...
Read moreWhile my smoothie wasn't bad and was very filling (and I appreciate that there's no added sugar!), it did end up being much pricier than the listing advertised. The small smoothie that I got ended up costing about the same as the medium smoothie price that was listed, despite us not adding in anything, which was disappointing. The high price for such a small smoothie is definitely off-putting in regards to us returning.
Furthermore, and this is a personal thing, I didn't like that there are stickers everywhere. I'm somebody with an irrational phobia of stickers (Pittakionophobia) that causes me fear and repulsion when I'm exposed to them. So it was an unpleasant experience for me personally. There were far too many stickers for me to feel comfortable with my phobia. Regardless of my phobia, however, I don't think that the establishment needs to have so many stickers, and I do feel that it comes off as rather tacky decor-wise. There was even one on the...
