My wife loves a gift card and shake shack had issued my wife two $10 credits on the app due to her birthday credit not being issued at the time of her birthday.
We arrived around 6pm and the Atmosphere set to night mode with it being dark at 5pm now. The lighting was nice outside.
Since we have to order from the app we sit down and start that process. The app requires us to make the order using the credits that we do two transactions.
The app has a restriction for one order at a time. No biggie we ordered the single truffle Burger and the parmesan fries on the first order.
We waited for 10 minutes and then the order said it was ready so we proceeded to the counter. Once at the counter manager searched for our order and saw that it had just come into the system is what I was told. Went ahead and was told that it would be another 3 minutes and so went back and sat down. At this point we could not start the next order because even though the order said what it was completed, nothing had changed on the app.
After a couple minutes, name was called and went and retrieved the first order. I get back and proceed to take my pictures at which time the app still had not released first order. It took about 10 minutes for the order to finally cycle out and allow for a second order to take place. This is not the fault of the restaurant, but I definitely want to bring it to the attention of anybody using the app.
Proceeded to order the second burger. The double truffle Burger with the pineapple kiwi lemonade.
The burgers where good and crispy edges. The double was warm in the middle but the singled had cooled but then. The single was slapped together in haste and it shows with the condiments placings and amount. The double had better consistency with how it was put together.
Fry's had a good Parmesan truffle topping. The bottle was okay but the Fry's had to be the most disappointing. The butter would of better been a topping that was drizzled on at a thinner consistency.
The pineapple and kiwi lemonade was definitely the highlight of the food. You do get free refills and it was pretty awesome that that is a thing here because this is definitely really good. The chunks in the lemonade were a mix of the fruits which was very nice and consistent.

Read moreWe're in town for a soccer tournament, so we're not familiar with the area. My daughter was in charge of picking somewhere to eat and navigate me there. I guess she failed to notice the big red CLOSED word on the maps directions. We get to Shake Shack, and it looks empty besides employees, but she is certain they're open because "it" said. So I listen to my 14 year old (probably my second mistake of this adventure) and pull through into the drive-thru. Sure enough, the automated "We're closed but come back during our visiting hours" comes over the intercom. I give my daughter a stare through the rear view mirror. She again states, "It said they're open!" As I'm pulling it up on my phone, another voice comes over the intercom to let us know they're closed, but that he'd be able to help me no problem. I apologize and tell him that we can totally go somewhere that's open. He says, "No way, let's get your order in!" We put our order in and pull up. I again apologize and explain that my daughter was put in charge, and he is so friendly and kind and says to not even worry about it. Payment is given, drinks are given, and he'd told me it would be a little bit... understandable, they aren't open. So, I decided to take this moment to teach my daughter how to comprehend the maps' information. I pull up shake shack... I show it to her without saying anything, and she says, "See, it opens at 11." I say, "YES, but do you see that big red "Closed" next to it, also what time is it now?" She looks at the time and says "Oh." We ordered around 10:10, got our food around 10:30. They did NOT have to service us. Another gentleman hands us our food and I apologize again. I was mortified but they were so very kind and helpful! I didn't have cash on me to tip nor was there a payment pad to add to the amount. And in my moment of embarrassment, I failed to get their names, but please, I hope this gets to someone... it's Saturday 4/27/2024 and the 2 gentlemen working the morning/lunch shift are AWESOME! They probably weren't even done setting up but took time out of their opening setup time to assist us. Thank you thank you THANK YOU! And I...
Read moreI like trying new places and had never been to a Shake Shack before, so if course, I needed to try it. Went through the drive-thru, hardly any wait time other than that which is required to make food fresh.
To start with, I requested that the gentleman taking my order (who I would later learn to be Noel, this locations manager) to surprise me, because what's life without a few surprises? No spoilers, so I didn't know what I was getting until after out was handed to me! Noel was super friendly and totally game for playing my game!
I left with an Avocado Bacon Burger, absolutely delicious! Well worth the price I paid, which isn't much in hindsight when you take in the quality of ingredients being used.
My first impression of this establishment is well put together, friendly, vast variety of meals, and open atmosphere. I liked the location, and I loved the food. I will definitely be back.
05/30: edit: I came back and this time, I tried Finley's Special, this is not on the menu, lol. Rather, one of the employees made me his personal burger which was, as follows:
A single ShackBurger with added Cherry Peppers, no whole leaf Lettuce, added shredded lettuce, added onion.
It was a good twist on a classic burger and, just as delicious as the first burger I tried here. Very good, and the Angus beef with the lightly crispy edges accompanying the juicy pattie is just perfect!
The team is very fun from what I have seen this far, very kind and they humor me by playing my game, so I'm quite fond of them this far. Will return!
05/31: edit: This will be my last update! I went back and this time Justin introduced me to the Carolina BBQ Burger with Fried Pickles. I normally don't eat fried pickles. Not that I don't like them, just impartial. However, I was delightfully surpass by just how much I enjoyed this burger. It should be noted that I normally can't finish a burger, but the last three Ice had were completely devoured. While I will be returning, this will be the end of my review. I believe 3 times is sufficient proof for a well earned 5 star and highly...
