Round Rock West — Local services in Round Rock

Went to the Dollar Store to pick up a few things. Shelves are starting to have a few more items. I guess the delivery trucks are coming in. They aren't as well stocked as was typical a couple years ago. I was going to pick up some potting soil but they have a very small bag (I guess it's about a pound) for $1.25 when previously, they had an 8 (yes, eight) pound bag for $1. My son and I enjoy going to Gattis at least once a month. We avoid all weekends so as to skip the birthday parties and any other large group gatherings. We always order a buffet for each. It's pretty inexpensive. Two buffets and two drinks is less than $22. There's usually no line. The pizza is good and the salad bar for me is the best that I enjoy. This location is ok... and 4 stars because it's in a super busy location, but in a pinch I'm always glad they're close by. There are times where I strike gold in here for my DIY projects and there are times when I walk out completely bummed. Either way it's mostly clean and Saturday mornings are usually a win. Great place to buy cleaning supplies as well. The staff is always friendly, although...they could use more help- But times being what they are I'm just glad...
