I feel that with a pizza place, this size that only offers a buffet, they should definitely have a much bigger area for the buffet. There is a salad bar, then next to that is a small area to get spaghetti. Then there is about a 5ft to 6ft table(bar) for the pizza, then another 4ft table(bar) with bread sticks and a few desert like pizzas (I'm guessing that's what those were). The line is pretty long to get pizza on the weekends. I believe one of the reasons why is because they don't have a big enough area to make several of the same kinds of pizzas. They only have enough room to make 1 of each different kind of pizza. So that leaves people standing there in line, waiting on more pizza to come out. The soda/drink station is right in the middle. I would agree with putting that there if you had access to drinks on all 4 sides. But I believe the actual drinks are only on 2 sides and the other 2 sides only hold the cups. Making more lines to form around the drink station. Why not place a soda station on all 4 sides with cups next to each station so people aren't having to wait for someone else to move over a bit so they can also get their drink at the same time. To clustered in my opinion. The establishment looked pretty cleaned. There were employees coming around quite often to remove dirty plates. I was pleased to see most of the games were up and working. Although I do not feel your card is actually receiving all the points you earn at each game. I know for a fact it didn't give my grandson all the points he/we earned plating the games. That's a huge letdown. Especially considering how much each game costs. They only have 1 machine (that I found) in the game room where you could reload or check your points. And that machine was extremely confusing on how to reload your card. I ended up having to go back to where we paid to get into Gattis in order to add more money onto my grandsons card. That's a hassle. But all in all, it's a fun place to take the kids. It's clean. The food is decent. I...
Read moreIts a nice place to take the kids to have some fun when there is not a pandemic going on. Gattistown used to be a super clean, fun and delicious pizza place we couldn't wait to take my daughter too, but either they are lacking management or they just don't care. Customer service needs work, the pizza bar can use variety, it needs major work when it comes to cleaning ( we actually had to clean our own tables), bathrooms lack service, and my biggest concern is there are NO Covid19 safety procedures practiced. We saw many people inside,no one practicing social distancing at all, the tables are packed so technically youre eating with a neighbor, no desinfecting of any tables, I had to start cleaning our tables and then ask someone if we can get someone to help ( I saw young people cleaning tables with the same rags after that), there was one person walking around with a spray bottle, but no disinfecting of any games after they were touched by so many people and people just touching pizza and other food handles without disregard for the virus. We felt so uncomfortable, I had to tell my kid and her friend we had to leave. We thought that because is a place for kids they were extraordinary measures being followed when it came to covid19 procedures, especially if they want to stay open, but no, it was a disappointment and couldn't wait to get out of there even with the short time we were there. We probably...
Read moreWe had a very nostalgic time visiting gattitown (formerly gattiland) today for lunch.
Pricing: $11 each for adults + $3 for drinks each.
Employee shoutouts: Allen was super helpful in ringing us up and putting in our special request orders (chocolate pizza and buffalo chicken pizza). Daniel made the pizza fast and delicious- tasted just like it did when we were kids! Lots of staff helping to clean, make food, and help customers.
Food and drink: buffet includes pizza, pasta, desert, and salads. There was a big selection of fresh salad toppings as well as hot, fresh pizza, speghetti, Mac and cheese, and deserts. Large variety of sodas (Coke products) and juice on the soda machine as well as coffee and tea stations.
Dining rooms: We ate in the movie room where they were playing âMigrationâ (kids movie) on a double screen. The booths need updating (hollow/flat) but the tables and chairs were very comfortable. Since we went on a weekday afternoon it wasnât super busy, only a few other families enjoying buffet with us. There was also a choice of an adult-ish room playing fox news and sports or a quiet-ish room with no entertainment but large windows. Plenty of seating in each area.
Arcade: We didnât end up playing in the arcade but it looked fun for kids with all the lights and fun games.
Parking: large free parking lot,...
