One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I went with four other guys. First off they keep it at 83°F in the building. I could see the thermometer. I can understand trying to save money by doing that, but it's Texas and it's already Hot outside. I don't want to go to a sit down restaurant and still sweat. . Second, we ordered at the same time we got drinks and didn't get our food for almost 45 minutes. We had to fill our OWN drinks up and had to repeatedly go ask for more salsa and chips. Once our food finally arrived two of the guys didn't get what they ordered. As we started to ask the waitress she darted off and didn't come back for a while. We had to chase her down and explained what was wrong with the orders. My friend ordered two tacos and they came wrong. He wanted eggs on his breakfast tacos. They had none on them. So she took them back and changed absolutely nothing except put cheese on them. Finally when we went to pay they tried to charge my other friend for something he didn't order. I try to never write bad reviews, because I try not to go off first impressions, but this was an absolutely absurd service. And this is the second time I've had bad service there. I will never bring anyone to this place again.
One positive thing is that the tea tasted...
Read moreUse to absolutely love this place but yesterday we ordered "extensively" via telephone and were extremely disappointed. We ordered whitefish and they gave us catfish (TWICE) as I had to go back. They forgot the cold slaw and Texas toast which I went back a third time for. When I pointed out to them that the fish was not whitefish that it was catfish they openly LIED to me and insisted it was whitefish. I'm a Texan who fishes I know catfish when I see it and taste it but they refused to give me what I ordered. Not because they didn't have it but because they thought it was funny to "put one over on the people that had the "nerve" to complain to begin with" The fried oysters that we purchased were bad and made my mother in law sick as a dog. This place is quickly going down hill. If they numbered their menu the cashier who takes the orders wouldn't get so confused. It was a harrowing experience that I'm NOT looking to repeat. May never go back there again. We may give them one more chance to win back our business but as it stands we spent over $50 on that one order and the food abd the service were pathetic. I greatly hope they improve at least for their own sakes. I don't see them in business long if they keep up this level of...
Read moreI want to know if this restaurant is paying people to buy reviews because this is literally the worst taco spot in all of Austin. Don't get me wrong, their restaurant was impeccably clean, including the bathroom and all the tables. But that makes no difference if the food is this trash. I got 2 fajita tacos, and 1 Baja fish taco, with a side of fries (and they charged me extra when I asked for ranch again). I ordered tacos with guac but there was no guac in any of the tacos. If I wasn't starving or had the energy to walk to a different store, believe me, I would. For my second fajita taco, I couldn't even stomach it but I was hungry so I opened and picked up all 4.5 pieces of meat that was there (yes, I counted). The fajita tacos did not have anything other than a little bit of meat, a thin slice or two of bell peppers in it, and was dripping with oil. The Baja fish taco was the worst taco I have ever had. My order was $15 for the 3 tacos and side of fries, and they charged me I think 59¢ extra when I went up to ask for some more ranch after I finished the initial thing of ranch they gave it. Even the ranch tasted awful. Overall, -100 out of 10. Save your money and go to the nearby McDonald's, it'll be more worth your...
