It's easy to commend Old Settles Dental; they are fantastic! I'd recommend them to anyone, especially to those of you who (like me) have severe anxiety issues regarding even simple dental procedures.

My dentist is Dr. Zavala. For my treatments, he works with one of his wonderful and knowledgeable assistants, Cheri. Dr. Zavala is soft spoken, an excellent listener, very gentle, highly skilled, and will thoroughly work with you to maximize your dental health with the least invasive procedures necessary unless you request otherwise. He treats and educates. His attention to detail is impeccable. He listens to his patients, he asks questions, and reiterates your own, so he can best understand your needs. During every exam or procedure, he will frequently check with you to ensure your comfort. There are many treatment methods and medications avaiIable to ensure your complete comfort during your visit. I wish every Medical Doctor would share Dr. Zavala's demeanor and professionalism.

I had major dental work done at this practice, over the course of six months (for personal reasons). It has now been three years since the work was completed. My root canals, crowns, and fillings are all still in perfect shape. Dr. Zavala will express any concerns he has and identifies the areas that should be treated first, but he will not push for a procedure you'd like to avoid. He and Cheri are very honest, realistic, and optimistic. I have never been treated so respectfully, kindly, and earnestly at any other practice during the the last forty years.

Each staff member, from the patient coordinator to the Doctors, are patient, friendly, and skilled in their craft. About the only thing they can't do is hold your hand and drive you to the office.

If you've been postponing or avoiding a 'dreadful' dental visit, no matter how long it's been since you've seen a dentist, I would strongly encourage you to visit them. They are supportive and understanding in every possible way.

And just to note, the rooms are bright and clean, relaxing, have tv's and cozy blankets, and an abundance of smiles. Do yourself a favor and get checked out. You deserve it! I know I wrote a lot, but my enthusiasm...

Awful they lied about the work they started end up touching the nerve paid almost 10 thousand . to start the work the gave back my money when they know the messed up !!! Never trust them thinking I was getting veneers every dentist said it’s impossible now because they went to short when they trimmed them down 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️they didn’t even want to help fix them awful the owner responded lies trying to cover there own mistake. which I already spoke many other dentist who said who ever did the work doesn’t know what they was doing .only reason a dentist would give back money avoid being sued dumb on my part for excepting my money back after having more then half my teeth removed yall telling a normal person wouldn’t be mad 😠 . no one will be happy with 20 trips to finish work over and over kept drilling on teeth taking out teeth infection kept giving me 800 ibuprofen I had 10 bottles over 2 months kept putting me asleep every appointment I went to !!! I was half out of the day I signed paperwork I don’t even remember it on leaving crying having to go back next morning cause I couldn’t stand the pain . But don’t tell them your not happy they will call you a liar even tho your paying them and not happy it’s there job to fix it especially when it’s your mouth now no teeth. worse then when I started Every dentist said the same they didn’t want to be sued only reason they gave back money especially thousands of dollars !!!!! That statement says enough !!!!! Let’s hear some excuse why they would lose money if they did everything correct . they had the nerve say take responsibility for it maybe y’all should take responsibility for screwing up yes I will post thousand reviews to help someone else from trusting you !!!!! We still have paperwork saying what the plan emails everything .if you didn’t drug your clients maybe we could complain when the work is actually being done instead stead of calling over and over . This is why people go around with broken teeth because one bad experience is can cause trauma literally nightmares about the pain and the work then to be called a liar yall took out everything in my mouth I don’t know what there is to lie about geez...

The office staff here is phenomenal! I am truly thankful that I found Dr. Zavala several years ago. My most recent visit occurred after my second Retainer also broke. I remembered from the last time when my other one broke how important it is to get it replaced quickly before my teeth begin to move around and ruin all of the hard work done to get them straightened.

When I called I had the pleasure of speaking with a beautiful soul named Crystal. She could hear the panic and worry in my voice and she quickly calmed me down and told me not to worry and that they would take care of me, and that they certainly did. Crystal explained to me that all that may need to be done would be something quite simple and that she would verify things and get back with me to let me know. One thing to understand is that they really weren't even open for normal business as when I called it was still part of the Christmas holiday and they were only in the office taking care of some administrative duties. Crystal called me back quickly to inform me that I could come in and get seen with Espy.

When I got to the office I was met and welcomed in by Crystal and Brittany and then by Espy. Espy took me back, explained to me that all she needed to do was to get a quick scan of my teeth so she could get me set up with another Retainer. She was quick, gentle and explained every step of the way, in addition to consistently checking on me to make sure I was ok which I was. Espy is so friendly and easy going and she maintains an admirable level of professionalism at the same time.

It's difficult for me to express the caring and the kindness of all of these ladies. This meant so much to me and the importance of being able to get in and be seen so quickly in what was a dental urgency to me meant even more. The actions of everyone here speaks volumes as does their dedication to service.

Dr. Zavala gave me my lovely smile and he has passed on his expertise in caring for his patients to the rest of his staff. The atmosphere here is warm and I felt welcomed, wanted as a patient and cared about. Kudos to Crystal, Espy and Brittany!! [and you too Dr....
