A suspiciously alluring durian pastry that made my car smell like Satan’s fruit basket

An anime-level cute rice cooker that now has a name (Steven)

And shrimp. So many shrimp. Frozen, fried, raw, jumping out of tanks like it’s Finding Nemo: East Coast Edition

The Produce Section: It's like stepping into a vibrant, edible jungle. I saw a fruit I swear was either a dragon egg or the next Pokémon evolution. I touched it and felt my ancestors whispering in languages I don't speak.

The Live Seafood Tanks: These crabs were actively plotting against me. One locked eyes with me and I backed away slowly. Respect.

The Aisles: Endless sauces, noodles, teas, and snacks. I blacked out somewhere near the seaweed chips and woke up in front of 37 different types of hot pot base with a bag of jellyfish in my cart.

The Bakery: Listen, if bread had a nightlife, this would be the club. Fluffy buns, savory pork floss delights, and cakes that looked like they were made by dessert angels.

The Cashier: Efficient. Stoic. No nonsense. Like a final boss who knows you’re going to come back and overspend again.

I left dazed, confused, delighted, and slightly sticky. I don’t know why. But I’ll be back next weekend to figure it out.

This is the third time I’ve bought spoiled food from this store—really disappointing! On February 15th in the afternoon, I bought ground pork and ground beef. As soon as I got home, I put them in the refrigerator. The next morning, when I was preparing brunch, I found that the ground beef had already turned black, while the pork was still fresh. Clearly, the beef wasn’t fresh when sold. This isn’t the first time. Long time ago, I bought bottled soy milk that was far from its expiration date, but when I opened it, it had already turned into tofu. And Another while ago, I bought a black-bone chicken, only to find out it was rotten and smelled awful when I got home—I had to throw it away. Now, after all this time, I came back to shop again, and the same issues still exist. That being said, the fish I bought on the 15th was extremely fresh, which proves that good quality control is possible. I really hope the fresh food department can pay more attention to the quality of meat and dairy products to prevent issues like this in the future. No one has the time to drive 20 minutes just to return few dollars’ worth of groceries, but after this, I really think if I can...

This is absolutely disgusting and absurd. Imagine buying meat; and the inedible parts of the fat etc are HEAVIER than the actual meat. What a rip off. I just made a horrible decision, and I hope that everyone else avoids this. The pork intestines is $5.88 per pound, though that’s not the point here. When I was buying it, the seller told me that there weren’t much or any fat inside. You can’t necessarily tell just by looking; not the customers who don’t get to check it first hand. Trusting the seller’s words, I decided to buy 3 pounds of it. After getting hope and ripping through the disgusting and ill, inedible fat/grease (not only is it disgusting, it also took a very long time). The whole fat in total is heavier than the overall amount of edible meat. The fat is 1.8 lbs out of the 3 lbs. Keep in mind that they basically sold their customers inedible fat for money. Never am I making this same mistake EVER again, and I hope to help everyone else avoid...
