This is my most revisited restaurant in this area, tied with Mountain House.
Specifically, though, there's one dish here that I keep coming back for, and that's the Mr. and Mrs. Smith. This dish alone showed me what a cold dish could and should be. It has the perfect amount of Ma La, or that numbing spicy, combined with other peppers and spices that enhance the wonderful flavor and texture of the meat mixture itself. Mix in just enough fresh cilantro to compliment but not overwhelm the dish, and you have a recipe that kept me coming back for more.
Every time I had a rough day at work or coming home on the freeway, or simply felt overheated and wanted something cool and refreshing, I came here and ordered this dish. Each time it made my day better.
I feel a little silly, writing a review for a restaurant that I've visited so much yet have only had one dish from, but if the Mr. and Mrs. Smith is this good, then the rest of the dishes here are surely as delicious. I can't recommend this...
