Panda Express — Restaurant in Rowlett

Worst experience ever if I could give 0 stars I would!! First of all we walked in no one acknowledge us we paid cash and when we were sitting down we count our change to find out we have been given the wrong change. I went up to the register and was ignored no one acknowledged me stood there for 5min while all the associates pretended to be busy there was no customers in the store…. Then finally the managers come out to ask what I need I explain to him I was given the wrong change he looked at my receipt and then just walked away…. 10min later her comes back and by this point I’m frustrated and just want my money back I told him I don’t want this food anymore just give me the money. He asks why I told him the customer service is horrible he asks who’s and I’m just upset because everyone service was horrible at that point he was pressuring me to tell him who it was, like he didn’t do anything wrong… as a manager he should know who gave me the wrong change by looking at the receipt and not only that he never apologized about the inconvenience it was actually me who was apologetic in regards to the situation he just looked at me with a blank face and walked away like it was my fault that they gave me the wrong change and that they had me standing there for over 15 minutes waiting for my change. 10/25/23 update- nice comeback Rowett! I gave you a chance tonight and my meal is good. Thank you. The food here is fairly decent. My issue is they never have everything! I don't know how many times I've been turned away and told they don't have the orange chicken or they don't have rice or they need to make noodles or they don't have shrimp it's always something! so when they got the app I was real excited. I went to use the app tonight at 9:15 and what do you know the app says they're already closed and it wouldn't take my order. so I called the restaurant and I asked her if they were closed and told her I've been trying to order on the app and she said "oh" as if she already knew that. then I said "can I come by the line and get some food: she said you can but we don't have much to offer. It was 9:30, you don't close till 10:00!!!! that's ridiculous! I don't know if it's all locations but Rowlett's been like this for years. I don't know who the management is but I would recommend that someone in the corporate office try to audit this store at 9:15 at night and see if you can get the meal you want. If you're going to advertise your open till 10:00 have your whole menu available...

I usually don’t give reviews unless it’s really great or really bad. Recently I’ve had bad experiences eating here. The food is okay. I’m not one to get sick often but the past 3 times I’ve ate here I have gotten sick. Yesterday I had dined in during the evening, food is alright, but I feel satisfied. Well later in the night I wake up with indigestion which either ends up with me puking or coming out the other end.. last time I had it was a few months ago and one more time before that and each time I always ended up the same. It just doesn’t sit in my stomach well and then later I feel like crap. This is the last time I’m going to any Panda. Or could maybe just be this location but yeah it’s not a great feeling at all and I don’t even come often. Nice people, food is okay at best, but whatever is in it has made me sick the past 3 times no matter how soon or how far apart...
