Antojo latino — Restaurant in Royal Palm Beach

I ordered delivery from this place. I only received part of my order bc the sancocho I ordered was sold out. That's understandable and I take no issue with that. I take issue with the fact that I was not contacted and informed about it. I ordered delivery bc I have a sick child at home and can't leave her at home. All she can stomach decently is soup and I ordered out since I don't have anything here to make a soup for her. So I received the food that really wasn't important. I called the restaurant and they claimed to have notified Grubhub, but not me the customer. I would have agreed to any other soup to replace what was initially ordered. So they blame the delivery company. I cantact Grubhub and they knew nothing about any of this. Now I'm stuck with no food for my kid, a finger pointing game and out more money having to find some other option for her since this restaurant didn't even try. They didn't even offer an alternative when I called them and explained the situation. just an empty sorry your kid...

I ordered the ajiaco soup but was very bland with no flavor and watery? It came with white rice, salad and 2 sweet plantains, but plantains were pale and under cooked and salad was super teeny. I also ordered the Columbian chicken patty and they where also under cooked as I tastes the raw corn meal texture. Hope there other food is better?

As follow up I will add to review. The owner seems like a rude and belligerent individual. Usually, I would give a restaurant a s3cond chance, but with the reply from ownership as he says, "Customers cry." What professional owner replies to negative food comments instead of trying to correct? What kind of staff and ownership does this place have??? They state I called there, lies. Itt was the first time I ever ordered from there and last, i never entered nor called establishment? Straight through Uber eats? Speaks a million...

Stopped in to check out this place because heard they had good food. Walked in with my husband to a completely empty restaurant and wasn’t even acknowledged by the lady behind the counter or the guy behind the window in the kitchen. Women was chit chatting on the phone with clearly a friend or family member by what we can hear her conversation. We ended up just picking our own table and sat there for a good 8-10 min until we finally decided to get up and walk out. Not once did either employees acknowledge us. What horrible service and definitely won’t ever be back. After reading some of the reviews this seems to be the norm for them and on top of this with the horrible service they charge a “service fee”!! Clearly they must have had to add this because people must not have been tipping due to the bad service. Good luck...
