Burger King — Restaurant in Royal Palm Beach

I had occasion to grab what I expected to be a quick lunch from the drive-thru at this Burger King location. I had a coupon for 8 nuggets and large fries for $3.99 and planned on adding a medium drink which I knew would be extra.

I pulled up to the order area and stated I had a coupon and what I wished to purchase. The person taking orders had a strong accent and said something I could not understand. So, I repeated my order again, including the fact I had a coupon. Again, she said something I could not understand but it sounded like she was asking asking for a menu number. I quickly looked at the menu but all I found was a combo for which I could not use my coupon. She finally asked me to pull up to the window where once again I repeated my order and handed her my coupon. I asked that she add a medium drink with light ice.

When she asked for payment my $3.99 coupon order plus drink had become nearly $8! I had to ask for a straw for my drink and I was NEVER asked what dipping sauce I wanted for my nuggets! It would have been more cost effective to simply purchase an a chicken fries combo!

When I asked why my drink cost $3.99 she said it was because it was a "large" drink even though I did not ask for this! Also, when I got home and went to check my receipt to assure I was charged appropriately, it was NOT included in the bag!

No more...coupon or not, I will just go to McD's instead where they actually honor coupons appropriately, have better fries and people at the drive-in who are pleasant and speak understandably.

Do better Burger King! You have too many competitors to provide POOR customer service! And do yourself a favor and READ YOUR REVIEWS! They are almost all terrible 1-star reviews. Do you...

Wow this is the worst BK I've ever been to. When I walked in the manager wasn't busy and looked at me extensively and said nothing. Aftrer ordering we found a large chunk of fuzz on our chicken fries like it had been dropped on the floor. Before I noticed this, the couple pieces I had were extremely salty and dry. When we approached the manager about the chicken fries she ordered a new batch for us and didn't apologize and hollered at us to come to the counter to pick it up. The new batch were much more tender but still too salty. The nuggets I ordered were super dry and stale. The whopper and fries were good (although the tomatoes were almost white). The worst part is that we walked into the restaurant around 8:45 pm and they closed the bathrooms off even though dine-in hours were until 10 pm. We asked them about it and they said they close off the bathrooms depending on how many people were inside. We received our food quickly but had to go to the bathroom so we had to eat with a full bladder before going to Publix across the way to use their restroom. It was either that or pack up and let our food get cold. Other customers came in that asked for the bathroom use also, but they didn't open it up for them. This review doesn't ask you if you went inside or drove thur. So i marked service for the cashier. I went there to get my granddaughter lunch. I ordered a kids chicken nugget meal and double cheese burger, NO ketchup. As you can see, they just smeared mustard over the ketchup to cover it up on the bun. I went back thur the drive thur, and the car ahead of me, was ahead of me before, handed their bag, back to the cashier. So im not sure, but i had to wait again for them to get their food, again. So im guessing their order was wrong also. I showed the cashier the receipt, then the burger. She apologized. I could see her frustration on her face. I got the next burger, as you can see no ketchup, but a lot of mustard. Can't say I will be going there again. I know times are tough. But if you are lucky enough to have a job, no matter what it is, at least do it right. Fast food jobs are no fun, but don't mess it up for the one you are...
