Long and detailed review: First time trying Mission BBQ and loved it! The flavors might be too much for the Littles so keep that in mind. Very cold at this location so bring in the sweaters for the children. We ordered the family pack since we saw it on the online menu. Note that the family pack is not listed on the menu inside this location. BEST DEAL!!! We got the family pack for 5 people and it came with your choice of 3 meats (1lb each)!!!!, 3 huge sides and a bakery option like cornbread, rolls or buns. When we ordered this everyone around us was definitely curious about how much food was at our table. I definitely recommend this option if you have a large family or like to take left overs home for tomorrow's lunch or dinner. We chose the moist brisket (make sure to tell the cashier what you prefer either moist or lean), sausage, green beans, Mac and cheese, baked beans and corn bread. You also get a full sized bbq sauce of your choice with the family pack!! If you order the buns as your bakery option you can make sliders with whatever meat you chose!! Super cool. The green beans have bacon in them for those who don't eat meat. Pescatarians will be pleased to know that Mission BBQ offers salmon as well. The baked beans also have brisket in them. Seating inside is limited compared to the long line. Since it was so busy, service was slower than one would like but everyone here worked hard to make sure the patrons were happy. Great job Mission BBQ!!! Thank you for honoring our beautiful country, Flag and first responders in the way you do. We certainly appreciate...
Read moreWe recently ordered food from Mission BBQ, and it was such a hit with my family—especially my daughter, who couldn’t stop raving about their homestyle mac and cheese. That dish alone sealed the deal for us to have them cater our Thanksgiving, and let me tell you, it was the best decision we could have made!
Every bite tasted homemade—there are clearly no shortcuts here. You can tell people are really back there cooking with care. The meal felt like a classic cookout, bringing that comforting, soulful vibe to our holiday table.
The mac and cheese was the star for my daughter: a rich, cheesy, Southern classic with bold flavor that puts boxed versions to shame. The smoked turkey was incredibly juicy and full of flavor. But for me, the cornbread dressing stole the show—it was perfectly seasoned and brought back memories of authentic home cooking.
Other highlights included the smashed potatoes and gravy, which were clearly made from scratch and tasted as fresh as they come. The banana pudding was a delightful surprise—real bananas and a light, creamy pudding that didn’t have that artificial boxed taste.
If I had one critique, it would be the apple caramel cobbler. While flavorful, it was heavier on the syrup and apples than the crust, making it a bit too sweet for my taste. That said, I can see how some people might prefer it that way.
We were so impressed we’re already planning to have them cater Christmas! Mission BBQ has truly mastered the art of comfort food done right. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a stress-free, delicious...

The ordering is done cafeteria style, with everything ala carte. Once your order has been placed, you fix your drinks from the self-serve soft drink, iced tea, and lemonade dispensers, then sit down at whatever open table or booth you'd like and wait until your name is called, whereupon you retrieve your food tray, and return to your table.
The portions were large, and the brisket was the best I've had this side of Texas. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, as was the smoked turkey. The salmon was both grilled and smoked, and was delicious. The fries were fresh cut, and made to order, and I could tell that the baked beans were slow cooked with plenty of shredded brisket. The cole slaw was crisp with a nice balance of sweet and sour. The iced tea was fresh brewed, and the lemonade seemed like it was made with real lemons.
At each table there was a "six pack" of different barbecue sauces in squeeze bottles, plus a glass "shaker" bottle of Carolina style vinegar sauce. It was nice (and fun) to be able try different sauces with the various meats and fish.
All and all a great...
