Ray's Hideaway Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Royal Palm Beach

We decided to try this restaurant because we happened to be in the area and it was listed on the Upside app as a Cashback restaurant.

We were quickly seated and almost immediately approached by our awesome wait staff who was very attentive and personable throughout our meal. I ordered potato skins and a 10-piece wings and my daughter, the French dip meal w/au jus.

Our food came within a reasonable time but was very disappointing. My potato skins hadn't really been scooped out so the toppings which were very good sat on top of what was essentially halves of two baked potatoes. Far too many starchy carbs! The wings were mediocre at best. The sauce was not very good.

My daughter sent her food back after just a few bites. While the au jus was good, she found the sandwich itself barely edible. The Prime French Dip was not seasoned well and instead of being served on a garlic roll as advertised, it was simply served on a soft roll. Very disappointing!

After sending her food back she asked our server to send over the manager just to make them aware of her complaints with her meal. Not once after listening to her meal problems did the words " I'm so sorry you were dissatisfied with your meal " cross her lips.

Most managers in that situation might offer to comp a dessert or offer a discount coupon to return and give the restaurant another chance. When my daughter said she was disappointed but felt that she needed to hear that In case it was just an off night in the kitchen, the manager said "Oh, I needed to hear that!" in a "roll your eyes" tone of voice which conveyed the exact opposite.

We liked the fun atmosphere of karaoke night but honestly, not sure I want to patronize a place that doesn't even apologize for bad food! You could do a lot better,...

I can't say enough good things about Ray's Hideaway! I visit this gem a couple of times a week, and it's become my go-to spot, especially on Fridays for the incredible Karaoke show hosted by Rocky. It's always a blast, and Rocky knows how to keep the crowd entertained and energized.

The staff at Ray's Hideaway is top-notch. Clarissa, Hunter, Charley, and Brandon are always super friendly and make sure every visit is a great time. Their warm and welcoming demeanor truly makes a difference and adds to the overall fantastic experience.

The food at Ray's Hideaway is consistently fantastic. From delicious appetizers to mouth-watering entrees, they have something for everyone. Plus, their drink prices are unbeatable, offering great value without compromising on quality.

I also appreciate that the owner, Lisa, is usually there. It's wonderful to support local businesses, and Ray's Hideaway exemplifies the charm and personal touch that big chains just can't match.

My wife and I went to this establishment for the first time for lunch since it was previously known as Pirates Well. There is plenty of free parking with easy access on/off the main road. The exterior of the building was fairly clean and not too loud in display. The interior of the establishment is spacious with a nice, full bar and adequate seating. The overall appearance is clean with very tidy restrooms. There seemed to be a limited staff with only one server and one cook. It was not very busy, so the service was prompt; however, I am not sure how the service would be if it was really busy having such a limited staff! We ordered a hamburger and fries plate and a reuben and fries plate. Both came out of the kitchen fresh and hot with an ample serving of fries, and both entrees cooked perfectly with quality ingredients. For the price, you receive a very generous portion! Overall, our experience was pleasant and fulfilling, and we will definitely revisit this establishment again...
