As a local, I've tried the food pre-covid, when things were normal, and not a soul had ever heard of covid, and found the food to be a little over priced for what i ate. I get that it's more priced for tourists, but im sure they don't like over paying either. If the food is excellent, i have no problem. When it's so so, wasn't thrilled. I watched them struggling thru 2020 into spring of 2021 (my home sits where i can actually see Farley's and when they are open or not). I felt for the employees. Open days were scarce. Im sure things had to be tough for everyone there. They did finally start opening more days then closed, and at first small crowds, but those have grown. I've visited since opening post covid. The food has not changed, still nothing special to me. The atmosphere is great, employees are friendly, and a great place for kids. Food just doesn't work for me. But that's me, there are plenty of folks who love it. My big peeve with them is if you are gonna open a restaurant in a residential neighborhood, at least respect the neighbors. If you close at 9pm, like tonight, a Wednesday, why do i have to be woken up at 12:10 am by loud music, people shouting, dumpsters slamming, etc, etc. And this is almost every night. You people act like there is no one else here, and that's as disrespectful as it gets. Neighbors deserve better.
Update: Since I posted this a few days ago, Farley" decided to take the mature approach and address concerns. How, by making even more noise, screaming even louder, and making damn sure to slam those dumpster lids as loud as possible at 145am Saturday night. Obviously asking to have a little courtesy towards neighbors was a little to much to ask. Acting like immature toddlers was their way to go. Would like to thank the staff that clean up at night for showing anyone within ear shot that lives near Farley's that with courtesy, a little understanding, and meeting on common ground, you'll get nowhere with this group of......... P.S. If you want to try some real food, visit Ole Taco's on Mechem next to KFC. Sure, they don't have the fancy atmosphere of this place, but the authentic Mexican food, cooked right there, served hot in the small dining area, will beat Farley's every time in taste and value. And I guarantee they are not up slamming dumpster lids at 2am. Update: Don't understand the absolute total disregard for neighbors. The last group of employees who leave around 1 to 2am every night are a nightmare. This morning, around 1am, neighbors are treated to pickups and bikes racing their engines, and basically acting like idiots. I'm assuming these are teens doing this, and not adults, that'd be sad and pathetic. If they think this is cool, it's not. Read moreIf it was up to me I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star!! My family and our friends went there this evening and it had to be the worst customer service I have ever received! We got there at 5:34p and had to wait which isn’t a big deal because most restaurants on a Saturday evening are packed, well we waited for 20-30 minutes before being seated after being seated we waited another 15-20 minutes for a waitress to come take our order, I finally got up and to find the manager and asked if he could assist us with locating our waiter, finally she cane over and we where ready to order both our drinks and food by this time. After ordering I had to seek the waitress 4 times to refill my drink. After receiving our food some of the food wasn’t even what we had ordered to the waitress made it right and got us what we ordered, after eating I approached the manager and explained of all the situations (not trying to get a free meal just wanting them aware) the manger agreed and took 10.00 off each one of our tickets which I did not feel like was fair for the effort we had to put in to helping our selves pretty much refilling our own drinks and for the extremely long wait ( we got there at 5:34 and ended up leaving at 7:30pm)!! After discussing this with the manager he shrubbed his shoulders at me and said sorry least you got that amount removed from you’re bill and wakes away! I was in shock! I my self am a store manager and make sure my self and employees Exceed in nothing but the best customer service and this was an example that customer service is a dying breed these days!! I’m sorry but I don’t believe my self or my family or my friends will ever return as long as the manager on duty named Steve is still employed due to his lack of customer service and his lack of caring for the customer! Read moreOff 2 a bad start, starting with the host (heavy set male.) Had a large party of about ten so we had to wait a while which is expected. Once they had a large table ready they went ahead and sat a party of 4. I notice they had open tables and booths where they could have sat. That just extended our wait and not even an explanation nor an apology after we brought it to their attention. I can go on about this worthless host but i will end that part here. Now for the service at our table. Wife n i had fajitas n son #1 had a basic burger #2 had kids chicken tenders. The burger was good according 2 my son. The tenders come with sum sort of gravy son #2 didn't seem to enjoy it to much. Now for the fajitas, our order came out n we had 2 wait, ONCE AGAIN, for the tortillas to the point the fajitas started to get cold. Waiter didnt walk bye for a good while. With that said u know what to expect with our refills. We also orderd a pizza as an appetizer since it is a bit small but good. Dont know what happen but this place was much better before both service n food wise. So the food over all was about a 2.5. To add onto the service part, other people in our group also had issues with incomplete orders and some just never got their order until we tracked down the waiter. So the service from start to end is a 1. I will say that our waiter was busy and when we brought it to his attention he adv that the managers were just not helping at all, which was evident.
