Update since this place has obviously changed hands. The service here has improved, but food is no bueno nowadays. Cheaper, dark meat chicken is used and just about everything has taken a downturn. No more delicious cookies by the register! The old lady that used to cook here is gone, and food is bland at best, so eat here at your peril. I had the agave burrito again, but it was gross compared to previous ownership. My wife got a quesadilla again, but basically received drippy tacos. Yet another Ruidoso restaurant I can no longer recommend.
We have never been to their old location, but happened to stumble into their new one today. Boy am I glad! This is the freshest and best Mexican food in town! The quality is top notch in seemingly every ingredient.
The family that owns the place seem like awesome people, too. I chatted with Adrian a bit, and he seems super ambitious and focused on the future. You can tell that he strives to provide the best experience.

It was watery, bland, and genuinely disgusting. The shrimp were still frozen. The octopus? Same story. I didn’t come here to chew on seafood popsicles.
And then, as if my taste buds weren’t already under attack, Taylor Swift started blasting over the speakers. Like… huh? I’m sorry, but who asked for a side of “Love Story” with their supposed ceviche? Last time I checked, real Mexican spots don’t play breakup anthems over botched mariscos.
This place needs a serious reality check. Either fix the food, change the name, or go full Swiftie and stop pretending you’re serving Mexican cuisine. One star, and even that...
