Panda Express — Restaurant in Russellville

I stopped in today 12/16 at around 5-5:30pm after doing some Christmas shopping. This was my first time to ever dine with Panda Express, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I walked in the front doors & was immediately greeted with a “welcome to panda!” The line was pretty long which is to be expected anywhere at dinner time, so I looked around while I waited for my turn to order. The lobby/tables were full of people enjoying their food, everything looked very clean & it was so colorful! I approached the area where we order our food & observed a very busy, but upbeat team on deck. There was a young man & a young woman who helped me get my food & another young lady who rang me up, they were all very friendly & helpful, as I really wasn’t sure what I was doing with that being my first experience in a Panda. I got my food to go which consisted of noodles, double orange chicken (I actually wanted beef and broccoli, but I was nervous and ordered wrong 🤣) I took it out to my car to eat before I made the drive home. My noodles were cooked perfectly, not gummy or chewy at all like they can be at a Chinese buffet, my orange chicken was lightly crispy, hot & FRESHHH. It was so dang good. I am a huge fan of Panda Express. I was so excited to get one here in Russellville. Every time I go, unfortunately, there is an issue. Last time they made me pull forward for a “1 or 2 minute wait” when there were NO other customers, then proceeded to forget about me and leave me out there for 20 minutes with a one year old baby in 100+ degree weather. I went in and asked about my food, and they had left it sitting out that whole time, then gave me that bag and not even fresh. So I had cold food and a ruined nap time for my toddler. THEN today I go, and I ordered the steak that costs extra and also some veggies in my plate (with other things that were fine). The steak I PAID EXTRA for I got three small pieces of. The veggies? Not a single broccoli. One bite of kale. And a massive cabbage butt… the inedible part you are supposed to throw away. So most of my lunch was not there or inedible. I really wish they would give a crap. As someone who has worked in the service industry for so long, it’s like a slap...

Went to drive thru. Was asked if I wanted to wait 4 minutes while fresh chow mein cooked. Said yes. Asked for sweet chili sauce and was told it would be in the bag. Pulled to front of store to wait 4 minutes. 20 minutes later I called store and was told the mushroom chicken I ordered still had to be cooked fresh. Another 10 minutes went by. Order came out. Egg roll was ice cold. No sweet chili sauce. Door by drive thru waiting area was locked. Had to walk around to side door. They gave me a barely warm egg roll. They don't even have sweet chili sauce.
