The menu was super limited and I waited an incredibly long time for a subpar plate of food. The portions were kind of sad and didn't justify the prices. I got a one egg platter and my SO got the two egg platter. It was essentially the same amount of eggs. The home fries were mushy and not seasoned well. They quite honestly tasted old. They also seemed overstaffed with people wandering trying to find something to do. One guy was just wandering with the hot pot of coffee almost running into people. That added to the unpleasantness that morning as we waited over half an hour for food, 10 for someone to bring us a check and 5 mins to come back with it. You want to move tables especially on a weekend. That being said, despite all the mishaps, our waitress was incredibly sweet and she tried for what she was dealt. Management needs to step in and fix the glaring problems. Also the place seemed nice and clean so I was so surprised that it seems like all the tablecloths were covered in crumbs from other people's food. Don't get black tablecloths if you can't keep them clean or change them after each turnover.

I came here for the first time and it looked quaint and cozy from outside but the table I sat at faced the door which was a little chilly . Some of my customers told me about this place and I decided to give it a try . I ordered the special which was Breakfast Quesadilla with chorizo potatoes onions and peppers . I asked for 2 eggs over easy instead of eggs scrambled eggs in the tortillas. The problem is had was there was barely any chorizo or potatoes it was mostly onions and peppers . They were a little skimpy with the green sauce and sour cream . It was tasty but just for $15.00 I think it was a little overpriced plus they initially charged me over $15.00 The waitress “fixed” it . At least she tried to help out she said my bank charges a fee which I have never been charged any fee to use my bank card . I might give this place another go and order pancakes next time to see if they are as good as my customers told me. I gave it 3 stars because the lack of potatoes and chorizo in the quesadillas it was a little disappointing to be honest.

Cute little restaurant with lots of friendly and attentive servers. They came over just enough times to see if we needed anything or to refill the coffee without being asked, and were quick and witty with their remarks and food recommendations. Coffee was noticably excellent. Food was mostly good. The mozzarella and bacon omelet was good but there was hardly any cheese - definitely needs more cheese. The regular pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes were ok - very thin, almost like crepes, but a bit lacking in flavor, even with chocolate chips. We waited about 30-40 min for a table when we got there, and then it took quite a while for the food to come out, so we were there much longer than expected, but it was a pretty busy Sun around brunch time. Prices were reasonable and the tables were comfy with plenty of room. I would come again if in the area.

I lived in Rutherford for many years and love this restaurant! I remember when they first opened and they were very well-known for their blueberry pancakes. It was a lovely small cafe we used to love to go for breakfast and the lines were usually really long to get in.

Lately, the food is just OK and it served quickly and it’s good for lunch and not too expensive.

But this week I ate inside and instantly regretted it. A big group of people walked in without masks! Mind you there is a sign on the front door saying masks required. They walked in without masks. I can understand if you take your mask off to eat your meal but they actually walked in without masks. So that is the difference!! Why would you have a sign that says masks required and then allow people to walk in without masks? Indoor spread in restaurants is one of the biggest way that Covid can spread. And we know that it is aerosolized. So a group of about four people walking in without masks is a problem to me. Mind you there is a sign on the front door saying masks required. Seating was way too close together and amount of people all cramped too close together!!! And not wearing masks at all while waiting for food to one or just sitting around after eating...

I think this is my first time ever feeling so slighted that I had to make time to leave a review. If I didn’t have somewhere to be, the lying about timing would not have been an issue. We found this place on IG and the pancakes looked great(I love pancakes) so we went to try them. We arrive to the restaurant at about 11:15a on this lovely Sunday. And as expected it’s a full house which is ok because remember the pancakes looked great. We ask to be seated and are promised a 15 minute waiting time, understandably. We sat in our car for about 5 minutes before we called to cancel seating and just order take out. We then were told it would be about 10 minutes for our food to be finished and they’ll call us. After waiting exactly 24 minutes we called for an update and was then told about 5 more minutes. Ok, I’m hungry and she’s hungry so 5 minutes felt like 5 minutes. However after 11 minutes and no call, she went inside because I would rather not engage… Much to my surprise, upon return my baby girl is empty handed and visibly disappointed. She told me that she couldn’t get anyone’s attention at all so she left. So now I’m leaving a review from another restaurant about how all of this could have been avoided had the host practiced honesty instead of...

I was honestly a tad disappointed today with the breakfast to be honest. I'm not trying to be over critical just want to give a fair review of my time here.

As others described the menu for breakfast is small but maybe for ppl that cuts down on deciding. For me it was fine.

I ordered the Two egg platter with Taylor Ham. I must admit the ham was cooked to perfection ! Best ham I've had in awhile. The eggs were big and cooked just fine. However I was never asked how I wanted them cooked. Not a big deal but just an observation. The "tap" water that was served here was probably the worst water I've had in awhile. I recommend getting juice or coffee instead. This the water you give to the plants. The homefries were a bit soggy and the rye toast was not really rye but it was tasty.

In terms of atmosphere it was a very nice cozy restaurant type of feel. There is only one bathroom and it seems to be tiny.

Service was good no complaining there. The cost of the food was around what you pay not cheap but not expensive.

Parking situation here is not ideal but it's not the worst I've seen.

Final verdict: I wasn't blown away (minus the ham) all in all... this just a...
