We were a group of 4, our friends have been here a few times and loved the food. The food may have been good but the pathetic service ruined my dinner. We sat outside, 8pm reservation, sat down 8:15. Waitress came over and asked if we wanted drinks, came back with them and then told us we have to order in 5 minutes because the kitchen is closing. Why on earth would you take an 8pm reservation when your kitchen closes at 8:30? Anyway we ordered 2 appys to share and this is where is just goes downhill. We asked for parmesan cheese, we asked 4 times and still none till someone finally cared. Then we asked for more bread, we were told they are out of bread. Then as soon as we finished appys, within a minute our dinners started to come. 2 orders of chicken parm and 2 eggplant, all with side pastas. My friend had no silverware, and had to ask 3 times, as her food got cold. 5 minutes go by and the rest of the food starts coming out. We were very specific with the side pastas, 1 ordered with no parmesan cheese on it, but of course it came with it, also ordered spicy. They brought it back with no cheese but no spice either. I ordered mine with mozzarella melted on it with marinara. It came with no cheese, I sent it back and it came back with small chunks of mozz, not melted, ice cold, I gave up and said I will eat it. I had a few bites of chicken which was good then had a mouthful of pasta. I love spice but not HEAT, this stuff was on FIRE. Inedible for me and I lost my taste buds for 20 minutes. Could not enjoy my dinner at all. The others said the food was good but the inept service made dinner a mess, these were not the only service issues. Finally a young woman came over, maybe 25 and asked if there is anything she could do to make things right. It was way too late for that and she walked away. When the check came they took off 2 dinners which was the right thing to do, but I was looking for a good meal, not a free one. To me the problem is the owner, his staff while pleasant had little to no experience. Also, the server took the order on an Ipad, there were specifics about each dish which she obviously missed or did not communicate to the chef. also the runners bring out the food and she never saw that the dishes were wrong. This may seem nitpicky but trust me it was not, we paid good money and had a bad meal. The food may have been very good as the others in the party said but I will never come back here. Read moreI have ordered from here many times I’ve the years and the food has been exceptional. Today I was truly disappointed and felt ripped off . I don’t think I will be ordering again. There are so many other restaurants in the area that have delicious high quality food.
I ordered delivery - a pesto linguine with shrimp for lunch- I received 2 shrimp in the dish- 1 whole shrimp and four tiny pieces cut up .
When I called to express my disappointment , I asked the manager Andrew about it - he told me they only give you 3 shrimp per order - 1 whole and 2 shrimp were cut up. I mentioned - I don’t think I received 1 cut up piece of shrimp. I was basically told it is what it is .
When I realized I paid 26.00 for a pasta dish that had maybe 2 shrimp in it, I called back. This was maybe 2 cups of pasta and ( 4 ) -1/4 inch sized pieces of shrimpI was told again by Andrew that they use U-12 shrimp and that is why the price was “ jacked up”. Shrimp is expensive. Apparently portion size is by piece and not weight . To think you are going to charge 26.00 for 2 cups of pasta with bits of shrimp in it.
Andrew stated the owner charges so much because of the price of the shrimp .No accommodation was offered to me .
It is ridiculous and unacceptable to be charging people like that . I get things are expensive and you need to recoup your costs , this was highway robbery. I guess some business’ get complacent and don’t realize when they let their customers down.

Read moreWe had an extremely enjoyable dinner at Suprema tonight (Sat - 21 Dec 2024) on our first visit after scanning restaurant reviews from other diners. We were a party of three, were greeted warmly upon entry, and were seated immediately in accordance with our 5:00 reservation. Our primary waitress, Mary, distributed menus and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, easily answering questions and immediately confirming one of our party's "going-in" preference for the calamari and the rigatoni vodka. The other two diners had the squash risotto and the artichoke salad (with grilled chicken). Every dish was truly outstanding and the calamari appetizer was among the best we've ever had -- lightly breaded, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The rigatoni vodka dish was outstanding, and the artichoke salad was well seasoned, ample in portion, and extremely tasty. While Mary was apparently the lead waitress, a team of support staff provided service throughout our meal, all very pleasant and attentive to our needs -- quickly opening wine, re-filling water glasses, clearing dishes (none prematurely), and verifying satisfaction with every dish. This is very obviously an extremely well-managed restaurant with a highly-trained (attentive and well-engaged) wait staff and backed by an outstanding kitchen staff. We would dine here again without hesitation to sample the other dishes on the menu. I can only highly recommend Suprema based on our outstanding...
