I am not someone who posts review but i am compelled to leave a review this time. I must say that the food was AMAZING but the server was as bad. I believe her name was Ilal (I had to ask as she was so rude) if I heard it correctly. She was rude and clearly discriminated. There were 3 tables in a restaurant and out of 3 our table was the only table with Indians. As we were in rush we tried to put the entire order in but she did not take our dessert order. When we called her for something we had the question about she just said "let me finish what I am doing" and she was literally doing nothing other than standing at the desk and the same moment when the other table called, she went right away. She did not clear our appetizer plates but we saw her doing it on all other tables before the food came in. Our table also did not get the onion salad that every other table had it. Our food that we ordered was supposed to come with soda and she did not even ask for it unless one of colleague saw the menu again and asked her and then she said "yes, tell me what you want". In the end she was doing all the other stuff including just standing idle at the desk but did not come in to take our dessert order even though I tried a couple of time and she just kept avoiding the eye contact. I am not sure if she is the owner herself but if not, I would like the owner to know that business get a hit when the treatment is not right. I did not feel welcomed at all. Her tone was rude as well. Food was amazing but experience was bad and that makes me not want to ever go there again or even refer someone there. My husband works as Restaurant manager in the food industry for over a decade now and I understand very well how this industry works and customer service is very important. I am not sure what was her deal to be discriminating but it felt really bad to be treated like this. Maybe she needs some training. I must REPEAT, food was AMAZING and would recommend people to only do a take out to try the food but not actually sit and eat there. Good luck. PS: I will leave the photo here at the end of the lunch what our table looked like with all appetizer plates still being...
Read moreUsually this is our go to spot, lately they've been slacking but today hit the nail on the head and we will never return to this location again. A few weeks back my husband and I ate at this restaurant and he had the chicken kabob and I had the shrimp, mind you we go quite often and haven't had any major issues. My husbands chicken came out pink and squishy (raw) and my shrimp was raw. We did send our food back because it was completely inedible. The next few times we went the food was alright, not bad but not great, (maybe new cooks? Idk) BUT this time (our absolute last time), I ordered the shrimp kabob and my husband ordered the chicken kabob (like usual) and the shrimp was literally rock hard. Couldn't cut through it so really it was bad and had a really strong fishy smell. I said to the lady (the same lady who's there every weekend) that it wasn't right, overcooked and inedible and she had some sort of attitude talking about how it's well done. Now well done and burnt to the point it is inedible are two separate things, I didn't ask for well done, I just asked for it to be cooked and not raw. After some conversation back and forth she brought out a new order, which this time was still a little over cooked but it was edible, so I ate it and we asked for the check. The check came and she charged twice for the shrimp when the first order was not eaten. I mentioned to her and she got extremely nasty and said she didn't have time for this and it is what it is. So I asked to speak to the manager or the owner or who ever was there, and she got even nastier and said no they don't want to talk, and demanded us to just pay the bill. Now it could have gone one of two ways, we could have just walked out and not paid at all, or just sucked it up and paid like we ended up doing. Long story short, we didn't want to make a scene so we just paid the bill, which in my opinion is completely wrong on their end, the customer service was terrible, and the disrespect was totally unnecessary. A place that once was our go to is now a place we will never step foot in again. 0/10 would...
Read moreA party of four looking to get in for late night dinner. How late? About 9:00pm we walked in the restaurant the door was open. Few customers arrived to pick up their orders. Anyways we looked through the menu and had questions since the restaurant is Persian. Anyways the server was a young woman with a strong accent she was able to explain somewhat what was on the menu. We ordered about three dinner entree’s. Food arrived on time! The temperature of the sides which was rice wasn’t so warm. Less then 5mins the rice got even colder. Had no problem with the meats since it was grilled kobob’s. The food was so delicious. I give 10/10! Although It was on the pricy end! It was only one side which was rice. There was no salad:( As we were half way eating our delicious meals the waitress approached us and asked us to hurry up because she had to close. We looked at each other and continued eating. Less then 5 minutes she came by to turn off the TV which the kids were being entertained. We noticed our food and the temperature got really colder. I believed she must’ve turned off the heat. While we are still eating she approached us again and asked us she’s sorry but she has to leave to catch her train and that we should leave too. It was one of the bizarre moments ever. I had never heard anything like this before. There goes another light off. At that point we confronted the waitress (the owner) and asked what was her problem? Why she rushed us throughout our eating? If there was a problem she should’ve addressed it from the time when we walked into her restaurant and she should’ve not seated us. The owner walked away while we were still speaking to her. At that moment we decided enough was enough and paid our check without leaving her tip. The owner drove us nuts one of us left their cell phone behind. While we we’re getting in our car she yelled across the road that we left our cell on the table. Maybe if you had not rushed us, our Persian waitress/owner!!! I want to go back with family and friends because the food was 100%! But I’m afraid of the hospitality which...
