I like this chain, I really do. Typically when I eat food from here it leaves me feeling quite happy. However, my last visit was not the case. I don't think a burger has ever made me so angry. I placed an order through the app and when I walked in they were finishing up my burger as that's what I was told and I saw them place it in the bag and then I was told I had to wait for fries. I would think that fries should have gone down before the burger was finished and I was certainly correct. By the time they were finished, bagged and handed off nearly 10 minutes had passed. I live right down the road from here and I never let my food sit because I am simply looking forward to it with much anticipation. When I opened up my burger it was nearly impossible to hold. It was soggy, falling apart and a hot mess. I resolved to eat it anyway because I wasn't about to do away with the amount I paid for it. That was quite the challenge and by the time I was done I was left with an utter mess of what should have been something quite enjoyable. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and go to this particular one at least once more but if this happened again there are many other places to go in the area and I will certainly be sure to not simply settle for what...
Read moreAlways a long line! Anticipate at least 45-60 minutes to get your food! But they do off online advance ordering, so you can plan accordingly. The food here is fresh, hot prepared to order exactly the way you want it. The fries are light, delicious, and copiously portioned. You have more than your money's worth! They will accommodate any special requests. I got my Whole30 everything bacon burger medium rare with carmelized onions, mushrooms, no cheese on iceburg lettuce wrap, and it was absolutely spectacular. The Cajun fries have a nice kick without being too hot. Staff here are super friendly, working hard and fast to keep up with the steady fast pace. They're all moving as fast and efficiently as they can. Really something to see! Overall a great place. Only negative is they are actually too busy cooking to wipe down the tables between customers, but there's always so many people waiting, there's really no time! As soon as someone gets up, another group grabs their table. But the bathrooms and kitchen floors are clean, so nothing too outrageous. It's raucous and fun, the kind of place where you throw peanut shells on the floor...
Read moreOk 5 Guys what's up with little to NO fries??? I have been to many 5 Guys all over the USA but this one has disappointed me. Sorry. My wife and I use to get the medium Cajun fries but as we've gotten older we have downsized to the "Little" size. There is usually a good cupful plus several extra so we can share them but today..... what the heck??? Only a cupful and NO more!? I could have gone to the grocery store and bought 5lb's of potatoes for the same price you charged and all we get is a dinky cupful!! Now I'm not one to complain but if you're going to skimp on the servings then I'll be looking to eat elsewhere, there's a Panera Bread just down the street that we could have gone to but did not, maybe I'll rethink that in the future. We are only here today, as we travel in our RV and move around alot, and will not be back in the area anytime soon. I just wanted others to be aware of what is happening. FYI.... the burger, as always, was GREAT! We have never been disappointed in that department but today was a bit saddening to only get a cupful of fries. Good luck in this location and maybe see you if we travel this way...
