The staff is always friendly, but the wait time is always crazy. We stop through sometimes on our two hour drive to visit family and usually it’s too late to go anywhere else (other than McDonald’s) Last night in particular, we ended up having to wait in the drive thru for 40 minutes which of course was frustrating. However, the cashier who was extremely apologetic maintained an amazing attitude, held friendly conversation with us while we waited for our food and was kind enough to give us an extra medium fry for the inconvenience. You could tell the kitchen staff really weren’t doing much other than playing around in the kitchen, I really give the cashier a lot of credit for being so friendly despite clearly being overwhelmed with the kitchen staff not really moving. Countless people pulled out of the drive thru behind us and honestly we contemplated it too, but needed to get our daughter fed. The cashier we had was Kayla, she deserves some credit for going...
Read moreThe "Impossible Whopper" is now at Burger King. I hadn't been to Burger King for about 30 years, when I stopped in a couple of years ago to just grab a regular Whopper and the meat and that sandwich was so disgusting that I literally could not finish. However when I heard about the veggie burger option I had to go try it yesterday. The impossible Whopper tastes exactly like the Whoppers of yesteryear. You can't tell that this is a veggie burger at all. It has the same texture flavor and smell of the old meat patties from the '70s and '80s that we all grew up to love. This is a much healthier option then the regular mystery meet that is in these type of fast food places and it was actually quite good. I will be back to the restaurant just because they are offering veggie burgers. I have often thought for the past 10 years that the fast food places have been totally missing the boat by not offering a fast healthy option. I'm very glad to see that they...
Read moreHot fries, cold sandwiches, and long lines. Nope, this isn't my first time at BK, and it won't be the last either. That flame broiled goodness that you can smell for miles is worth the wait. However, the sandwiches are always cold and never look like the picture. You may have seen the picture at the pick-up window of the woman making the attempt of eating a double whopper in one bite. You've seen the lettuce, the pickles, the tomatoes, and the burgers trying to make their escape out the back. Well, it seems as though when you get YOUR burger, they have, because they are not there. If you're lucky, you get a skimpy piece of lettuce, one pickle, and a tomato. I won't even bother talking about the lack of mayonnaise. The servers are always friendly there, and they're good about righting...
