I gave it 3 stars because, at the entrance, you see trash bins that have odors; thinking they should consider another spot. Doesn't make it appealing to go in. The food is not the best Mexican but not the worst I've had. Been a few times now and feel that the servers work a little slow to check back with you and/or to bring the check. Otherwise, the staff is very pleasant. However sometimes hard to communicate with them in a learning staff phase. The atmosphere seems clean and picked up. Nice decor, and table/wall paintings are well done! Would go back but not my first choice. Oh, I also forgot to mention. The second time I went, 3 other people that I went with had their food while I waited over half an hour before they brought mine! I believe it is a language difficulty with the staff getting adjusted. Hope that improves.
Updated review! I changed my star rating today because something has changed with the food and the service! Our waitress couldn't understand English well enough to take our order! She had to ask four times for us to repeat back what we wanted! We understood that, till our order got to us, wrong. But the server never came back and asked if everything was ok. When we got our check, things were on the bill we didn't order! She had to ask three times as we asked her to remove what was on the check. The waitress wasn't pleasant at all, poor customer service! The refried beans were terrible! I felt like I was just eating salt! The rice ( which we didn't order) was starchy and had no flavor! The taco was salty and barely warm! Sadly, the staff has changed since my last review and I will not go back to this restaurant! When I was walking out...the kitchen door showed tortilla chips on a bottom shelf rack!! So if floors are being cleaned...so is your food? Way too close to the floor for me to go back! Then before I could even get home from Saco to Biddeford, my husband had a diarrhea attack! Which had never happened before over there! Must be a new chef, new staff, and not a restaurant I will return to sadly. If they don't change things, this business will...

They have a sick happy hour 3-6: House Tequila $5 House Margarita $8 Talls for Smalls drafts
I asked for House tequila & lemonade and the first 2 visits that's what I got. The last 2 visits I got a house Margarita. I know because I watched them pour it at the bar from their pre-made machine (that's fine).
They have a cool Taco Tuesday deal: "$2 For Beef or Chicken Americano Taco comes with lettuce and cheese." In my 4 visits I've never been delivered lettuce or cheese with them. "We also have $3 AL Pastor and Chouriso Meixcano Tacos" (Delcious)
The first time I received then they were open face soft flour on a plat with some onion and cilantro. I was so surprised by the quality, presentation and taste I brought my roommates back. I ordered them the same way and received different results. Just two tacos fillled with meat, inside a hard shell on an enormous plate with onion and cilantro (I ordered no onion).
This trip is took until the food came out for the drinks to come as well (about 20 minutes) and they gave us paper cups for the water while we waited.
My roommate got a Burrito (the price was not on the menu) and it was $19 and came with nothing else (no beans. No rice. So salad).
I know I don't own a restaurant. I know that most places that have been in this location have failed (Ricettas, Boomers). I do know process improvement. Take all the drinks menus and make them uniform, they are not as some exclude drinks Train servers on what exactly your happy hour deals are (that's going to help spread Word Of Mouth sales) Add a drink runner so your wait staff isn't running upstairs to go make their own drinks (the only bar is upstairs) Level the tables in the dining room. I knocked a cup of, luckily only, ice water over because the table rocked.
All in all this is an overpriced place for the quality and consistency of...

We came in and the two people at the hostess station we're talking and after about 10 seconds acknowledged us and seated us. Once at the table, we were promptly brought Salsa and chips, but then we waited at least 10 minutes before our waiter came to take drink or food orders. We had eaten all the chips and salsa and waited several more minutes and actually discussed getting up to just walk out because we are traveling a long distance and chose Mexican because it is usually pretty quick. We were worried if the whole meal was this slow it would take longer than what we needed to be on time. We had not ordered anything at this point or seen our waiter. The restaurant was empty other than one other couple.
Once our waiter came and took our order, service was prompt. I will say the food was outstanding. We love Mexican so we have a lot of good comparisons, and the fajitas were excellent. The restaurant is very clean and has a very good Mexican restaurant vibe.
They have a clean restroom, and also offer outdoor dining at wooden picnic tables with umbrellas for shade.
We ordered double...
