I'VE BEEN TO MANY CHIPOTLE LOCATIONS AND I LOVE THEM. HOWEVER, THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION IS ALL BAD. FIRST OF ALL THE EMPLOYEES APPEARED TO BE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND COULD SENSE A TAD BIT RACISM TOWARDS CAUCASIAN (WHITE) CUSTOMERS. WHEN I PAID FOR MY BURRITO I HANDED THE CASHIER A $100 BILL ; AS SHE WAS HANDLING THE MONEY EXCHANGE , SHE WAS DOING REAL FAST MOVEMENTS WITH HER HANDS BEFORE SHE FINALLY HANDED ME MY CHANGE WITHOUT EVEN COUNTING IT OUT TO ME. AFTER SHE HANDED ME MY CHANGE , ONE OF HER CO-WORKERS TOLD HER THAT THERE WAS A DOLLAR BILL THAT SHE HAD DROPPED BY HER FEET ; THE CASHIER TOLD HER CO-WORKER THAT SHE KNEW ABOUT IT , TO WHERE AT THIS POINT THEY BOTH LOOKED AT ONE ANOTHER WITH SMIRKS ON THIER FACES...COME TO FIND OUT , I WAS SHORT $1 ON MY CHANGE. IT APPEARS THIS EMPLOYEE HAS A SCAM GOING ON TO WHERE SHE DROPS THE MONEY SHE IS SHORTING YOU AT THE BASE OF HER FEET WITH REAL FAST HAND MOVEMENTS , OF WHICH BY THE WAY , I WILL BE REPORTING TO CORPORATE....AND THEN THE TOPPER : MY BURRITO WAS HALF THE SIZE OF WHAT IT SHOULD BE AND THE FLAVOR WAS SO BLAND THAT I DIDN'T TAKE MORE THAN TWO BITES....I FEEL NOT ONLY RIPPED OFF AND DISRESPECTED BY THE EMPLOYEE(S) , BUT ALSO BY THE POOR QUALITY OF PORTION AND TASTE AT THIS LOCATION.......ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE MEXICANS (BROWN PEOPLE) WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE GIRL WHO WAS BLACK ; SAD TO SAY , BUT IT APPEARS THAT THE MAJORITY OF THESE PLACES THAT ONLY HIRE YOUNGER BROWN PEOPLE AND BLACK EMPLOYEES ONLY, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TOWARDS CAUCASIANS IS HORRIBLE AND QUITE DISRESPECTFUL. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS CHIPOTLE AGAIN. THE CHIPOTLE ON 19TH ST AND THE ONE IN NATOMAS IS THE BEST , CUSTOMER SERVICE WISE , AND THE TASTE IS...
Read moreThe food is always fresh and pretty good,no complaints in that department, and the restaurant is always clean a big plus. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is provided upon entering. This Chipotle is on my way home from work so occasionally I stop by here and get a quick bite for dinner, most times it's past 8pm. On Friday there is usually a long line(not a big surprise it is Friday night), but on the other days during the week there might be 1-3 people in line to order. The outside is open for dinning only. I take one star away for the customer service . On 3 different occasions I've been there, and only having 1-3 customer's in line the wait has been a little longer than average. I'm by no means an impatient person, I've worked in this line of work before, so I understand how it is after you been on your feet all day ,busy, and tired. This particular day (Monday night)The employees were working, cleaning etc. And only having 2 people in line took over 20 min. I understand the cleaning, restocking, and conversation is important, but so are the customers. If it was me I'd focus on getting the customers in and out, even more so,when there is only 2 customers waiting in line. When there are about 5 employees working it shouldn't take that long. I hate to sound picky but its happened more than once. I'm tired as well I'd like to get my order and get home, sometimes I just consider going across the street to Mc Donald's or Taco bell instead. When I'm tired I'd rather sit in my car and go to the drive thru, then have to park, get out and wait. Especially when there isn't many...
Read moreThe worst $35 I have spent in a long time. I ordered online because both my husband I have been super sick with this flu but we were both ready to eat. He wanted Chinese food from Hong Kong House on Folsom and I should have listened! Being the loving husband he is he went with my choice, Chipotle, and here we are! I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and added white rice, pinto beans, sour cream, fajita veggies and cheese. I guess none of those things add actual flavor because it didn't taste like anything. There is nothing in this bowl that made it worth the $13 I spent on it. My husband got the barbacoa bowl and the only thing different with his was the super hot red sauce he adds to it but again, nothing adds actual flavor, everything is so bland. I don't understand the hype of this place. My food is still sitting here I don't know what to do with it but hate to throw it out. If I feel better in the morning I'm going to add some Sazon Mexican seasoning to it and some over easy eggs and see if I can make a breakfast burrito out of it. I'm sorry but that was a sad bowl that I don't even know how they can call Mexican. It doesn't taste like any Mexican food I've ever had. I should have went with my husband's choice. Next time we're going to...
