City Bible Church — Attraction in Sacramento

Ok, it is a little weird to "review" a church on google but this is how I found this church to go to, so here I am!

This church is solid theologically and that is the main reason I am writing this review. I was visiting from out of town and I wanted to go to a theologically sound, gospel preaching church that doesn't water down the message. All/most of the pastors seem to have come from Grace Community Church (John MacArthur church) and the senior pastor, Vlad, was preaching that Sunday I visited and he was so good with the exegesis. He explained a very difficult passage in 1 Corinthians with grace, using the previous passage to interpret it. The people were welcoming and my friend and I were greeted by a few people at the welcome desk. They weren't too overwhelming with attention, just the right amount :) If I'm ever in the area I will return. So encouraged to see a solid biblical church. Hard to...

My family and I were looking for a church that preaches the word of God, not mans options/teaching and we found that at City Bible Church. I love that the Pastors are humble if wrong and stand firm if I see something as an opinion to point me back to scripture and truth. My walk with the Lord has been strengthened tremendously by this church and their faithful members. This church is very welcoming, they came alongside our family in the difficult season of loosing a loved one, in the sweet season of adding a family member and overall doing life as a community. I love that this church meets in small groups outside of Sundays so we can know each other more personal to be there for each other and encourage in time of need.
