Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Sacramento

It's my fiancé's birthday tomorrow and she received a birthday coupon. So we go in to use our buy one get one free and when scanning the coupon they realized it was for a different store and did not honor it. So we paid for both and left. When we got to the car we realized they didn't even say happy birthday.. What happened to a sense of community, how have our neighborhood ice-cream stores become so corporate they will not honor a birthday coupon. They said they do have a birthday coupon , we just didn't have the one for the right store. I know that when we tip they all sing, what happened to being happy when someone goes there for their birthday. It's pretty sad that whatever the store or corporate policy is, tips should be celebrated and someone going there for the experience is not. My gosh I was craving ice cream and not just any ice cream but cold stone. Haven’t bee here in over 5 yrs since they failed to resolve a complaint regarding a cake I purchased but I digress. I order the largest size I think it’s the gotta have it of the banana pudding, which I got the very last of and it was hard for the girl to scoop out might I add. She then goes to get the vanilla wafers no gloves no utensils and she notices there’s only two wafers and a bunch of crumbs left, instead of getting more she dumps the rest on my ice cream smh not to mention grabs a small I mean small banana and a drop of the marshmallow puff. Had some extra time to waste and had a hankering for quality but daring ice cream. The place was packed but they moved the line so quickly we were outside eating our delicious creations in 15m. And even while they were super busy they were still very courteous, professional, and personable. I downloaded the app on the way there since Google maps informed me that it was a higher than avg busy time on the wknd but didn't end up using it or the discount through BeFrugal since they were so on top of their jobs.
