A Hidden Gem for Authentic Punjabi Food – Indian Sizzle Review If you're craving real Punjabi food, Indian Sizzle is the place to go. I’ve visited twice now — first with my partner, then with my whole family including the kids — and both times the food and experience were amazing. This spot has quickly become one of my favorites, and honestly, it deserves a lot more attention than it’s getting.

Feels Like You’re Back in Punjab

The food here has a true Punjabi soul. Everything we tried reminded me of what you'd get back home bold, rich, and full of flavor.

Here’s what stood out: Chat Papdi and Dahi Bhalla were fresh, tangy, and had that perfect street-style touch. Chole Bhature was spot on fluffy bhature and flavorful chole, just like you’d find at a good dhaba in Punjab. Amritsari Kulcha was surprisingly close to the ones you get in Amritsar. It’s hard to replicate that exact flavor, but Indian Sizzle came impressively close. A special mention for the Mango Lassi. Unlike most places that just serve a sweet mango shake and call it lassi, here you can tell they know the difference. The lassi had that thick, creamy, tangy taste, exactly how it should be.

Full Credit to the Chef You can tell the food is made with care and knowledge. Every dish had depth and real Punjabi character. It’s clear that the chef understands not just the recipes but the feeling behind them too.

Great Atmosphere, Friendly for Everyone Whether you're coming for a quiet meal with a partner or a full family outing, the vibe at Indian Sizzle is always welcoming. Both times I visited, the place was full, and the energy was really good. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service added to the whole experience.

A Few Suggestions Please consider offering ALL-DAY SPECIALS, not just for a few hours. It would give more people a chance to try different dishes at great prices. In addition, more marketing would go a long way. This place is a true gem, but not enough people know about it. A little more promotion could help it get the recognition it truly deserves.

Final Thoughts Indian Sizzle is the kind of restaurant that stays with you. The food took me right back to Punjab with its rich and hearty Northern Indian (Punjabi) specialties, delivering authentic flavors that I truly appreciated. Whether you’re a Punjabi missing home-style food or someone eager to try genuine Punjabi cuisine, this place is a must-visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back with more friends. That said, the menu is heavily focused on Northern Indian dishes and doesn’t offer much from other regions like Southern India, which might confuse some non-Indian customers expecting a broader Indian selection. To set clearer expectations, I’d suggest considering a name change that highlights its Punjabi roots something like (Punjabi Junction) to help attract the right crowd and give the restaurant a unique identity. Just my two cents, but I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Give it a try, you won’t regret it. I’ll definitely be coming back again and bringing more...

These people are so rude and racist, I will never come back here again.

I was excited to try this place after reading their menu online. I went in for dine-in by myself. The lady didn't seem very pleased to see me. No smile, no hello, no nothing.

Everyone else kept staring at me and giving me dirty looks too probably because I was the only white person there.

I was sat down, had a few minutes to look at the menu and then sat there waiting to order.

As I was sitting there waiting to order, I watched an Indian couple come in the door and the lady working there went and cleaned off the table next to me, sat them down next to me, and then started talking and laughing with them and taking their order as if I wasnt even there. As if i hadn't been sat down first.

I felt so disrespected and insulted I just walked out

It was clear she went to them first and gave them special treatment over me because they were Indian and I'm not. I was already sitting down waiting for almost 5 minutes before they came in.

Typical rude racist behavior I will never...

Wow! If you are worried about this being too few reviews, don't. This place is amazing

We came in at 2 pm and got the vegi and the special Tali sampler. Unbelievably good, a true diamond, we were raving about it for hours after. The 5 dishes were all amazing, the service was sweet and the waiter/cashier/family member checked in on us several times. It showed he really cared

The vegetarian dishes were absolutely incredible. Such a great selection and I'm not a vegetarian by any means, they just were beyond tasty. The paneer was perfect. The lentils were sooooo good. I seriously couldn't not review this place.

They even sell little sweets at the front! And for a total bargain considering how good the food was.

I can't recommend this place enough and hope everybody checks it out. It truly feels like finding a spot before it gets big for being so amazing.

I want my partner to try Indian food so I suggested this place. It was my first time trying Indian food as well here in America, we are not expecting too much, but Indian Sizzle really exceeded our expectations! From the service to the food and the ambiance of the place! it’s really 5/5 stars! The pricing is amazing too! We ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani, and both dishes are really good! my partner really liked the Chicken Tikka Masala! it was really good! the sauce is really yummy!! We will definitely come back to Indian Sizzle, we will try more of the food and desserts!

Our new favorite Indian restaurant. Broad menu with unique choices as well as traditional. Love the fact that they open early, hate eating pancakes and eggs for breakfast, I want a nice good meal. Gulgappa shots pictured and they taste as good as they look. Awesome service, quiet and to the point. Such a nice addition to the restaurants in the area. Indian Sizzle is in the old Curry Corner spot which I stopped going to long ago. Indian Sizzle is very clean and modern. Great place, got to try it!
