I had a truly disappointing experience at this coffee shop that I feel compelled to share. What should have been a simple coffee run turned into a frustrating and potentially dangerous situation.
I placed an order for a café latte, at the counter However, when I received my order and took a sip, I was shocked to taste the unmistakable flavor of pumpkin spice. As someone with a severe pumpkin allergy, this mix-up was not just inconvenient but potentially life-threatening.
Concerned and confused, I approached the counter to rectify the situation. To my dismay, the cashier insisted that a pumpkin spice latte was indeed what I had ordered and what she had prepared. Despite my explanation that I would never order anything containing pumpkin due to my allergy, she remained adamant and refused to correct the order.
The most frustrating part of this experience was the staff's lack of accountability and unwillingness to address the mistake. I ended up having to discard a $7 cup of coffee that I couldn't drink and leave the shop empty-handed and dissatisfied.
This incident has made me wary of returning to this establishment. For those considering visiting this coffee shop, I strongly advise you to not only clearly state your order but also confirm it multiple times before accepting your drink. It's disheartening that such measures are necessary for a simple coffee order, but based on my experience, it's better to be safe than sorry.
In the end, what should have been an enjoyable coffee break turned into a waste of time and money, not to mention a potential health risk. I hope the management takes note of this feedback and improves their staff training and customer service to prevent similar incidents...
Read moreI saw this bakery and what stopped me was the baklava. I love it. I asked the woman if they are made in house and she said "no, that they are made in Turkey." I asked if the top row was all not made in house and she confirmed the entire top row in the glass display was made from Turkey. She said, "Try it there delicious." So, I got the baklava that's shaped like a ball. I got a single baklava. And it's about the size of a golf ball. She charged me $5.49 for one. There was no price listed. This could of been bought as a package somewhere else. The woman knew what she was doing, and I know because she did not offer a receipt, she quickly got me out. And even had a slight hesitation as she was inputting data into the register. Any business owner knows that they should give the best honest service, but it's a matter if they'll care about being sneaky by overcharging just to make a sale. Save yourself from being overcharged and buy baklava at a local grocery store or...
