The poorest jewelry store I’ve been dealing with for the past 6 months,, back in December 2024 I had a existing credit of $5000 dollars that wasn’t maxed out but the sales person talked me into buying something nice for myself and there commodity credit banking that they run people credit through approved me for a additional $5000 credit for a purchase so I made it. Shortly afterwards I started getting notifications through credit karma about my Kay’s credit being over my credit limit by $4000. So I disputed through credit karma and still no luck with resolving the matter.. I then returned to the store who then we reached out to commodity credit banking who said it was a temporary credit even though they ran my credit and ding me for it,, they wanted to rerun my credit to raise my limit and I said no ,, why would I do that when you ran it previously before I made the purchase.. so long story short it’s 6 months later and Kay’s jewelry store and commodity credit banking has refused to fix the problem nor will they since I’m now at $1000 above my credit limit with them,, this is a big scam between the corporations affecting innocent people on there credit situation with other credit cards lowering my credit limit them now and affecting my credit in a negative way,, what can 1 person do against 2 big corporations is nothing but warn other people what they have done to me in a negative manner,, both corporations are most likely owned by a bigger corporation who have been doing business this way for years now ,, will never shop with either company as the have no customer service since it’s all done over seas anyways,, shoppers be warned how they conduct...
Read moreI ordered some stuff online for my birthday and ended up not liking any of it. I called before hand and was told to return anytime in the time period. So I came in I was waiting patiently while the two staff was helping others. Finally the older women came to help me and I said I was just returning. Idk why the system was only allowing her to do each item one at a time but that's how we had to do it. Due to this other customers walked in and she got mad at me because I was returning the items. Telling me how I should have called and made an appointment that's how it's supposed to be done. I said we'll online it does not say to make appointments for any returns. It says on the paper to return at any location etc. I did call before I came in and was told no appointment needed to just walk in. She was then telling me how she could be helping other customers instead of doing the returns. While the other customers were waiting she was just being rude towards me. Then she made sure to let the customers that were waiting how long it was going to take her. Then she told me I should have just mailed the items back with ups. No where does it say on the paper to mail or make any appointments. The other customers that were there were actually returning some items too. When she realized this she apologized to me and said I can see what else I like or make an appointment to come in and look at items. I appreciate her apology but she definitely shouldn't have treated me that way. I just wanted to hurry...
Read moreBeen here a few times and I've bought a good deal of jewelry from Kay. Came in today to have my 6 month wedding ring inspection and was extremely dissatisfied with the service.
Walked in, no one said anything. There were NO customers in the store. Someone was in the back, another guy was on his phone, one lady was doing something with the register and a lady was working on some papers. I initiated contact with the lady on the register (assuming the manager because she suggested someone else can help me) and she passed me along to another employee in which I walked over to, she looked at me like I was bothering her. I told her I needed a ring inspection and she told me to go to the guy on his phone because she was busy. The guy on his phone acted like he didn't want to look up, but asked how can he help. Gave him my rings and he did the inspection/cleaning. Normally the inspection takes 5-10 minutes (I have 3 rings). It took him all of 3 minutes then he laid them on the glass and said "Have a good day". The rings were not clean at all! You can tell it was a rushed job. I didn't even see him look at the rings under a scope.
Super disappointed with my experience today. Will not be returning to this location. Gave 2 stars because they did have a large number of employees working (usually high traffic and not enough people working) but the service was terrible...
